Greetings in the name of the Daughter.

Yes, I, and my sisters do worship The Mother, whom you call Venus Genetrix. We also worship her in other forms, such as Demeter and Maria. Our faith also includes The Daughter, whom we call Persephone, who descends into the underworld to redeem mankind.

We do indeed feel that augmentation is an abomination. We have reasons to believe that in the process of augmentation, especially through Augcorp, the soul is destroyed.

The founder of my particular church was married to a man who was on his fifteenth augmentation, and she said that after the tenth, he was no longer the man she had married. He had changed in a way that was indescribable. The light was gone from his eyes, and he no longer expressed genuine love for his wife.

Indeed, we have reason to believe that the Zero augmentation sets a process in action that, over the course of a few years, destroys a person completely. The higher augmentations only hasten this destruction. Of the highest, though, we cannot be sure – but they seem horrific in a manner that the mind of man cannot comprehend.

Of the families, we do not support them, either, though some of them, like Dr. Gutierrez, seem to be nice people. This is a facade. I had met one of Gutierrez's family in Louisville several years ago, and she was quite the rude, horrible person. She had given herself over to the falsest aspects of her soul. That is probably why she went mad. To mutilate yourself by your own hand surely invites insanity.

Most of them, however, are dangerous and to be avoided. Chief among these is the Gilded Family. They don't use anesthetic in their procedures. How is this possible, you ask? They are possessed by demons. That is the only explanation.

My recommendation to you is to leave augmentation alone. Do not seek it through Augcorp or any family. Instead, devote yourself to a life of prayer and good works.

Thank you so much for sharing. The only person I know who has had all 15 augmentations, is Joseph Mather…..is this who you are referring to, as the husband of the founder of your church? If so, how does he function day to day? Sad….I wonder who would have done this procedure on him?

I didn't realize Gutierrez had his own family……….I thought he was strictly corporate and pro-company… sneaky
As for the rude and horrible person you are referring to, is she a part of this board, or a descendant of it?

I have so many questions….I believe in a life of doing good, and this whole company does not sit well with me………..I would rather believe in myself than a procedure.

Oh no, no, no. Joseph Mather is the CEO of Augcorp. It was someone else who was married to the founder of our particular church. Mather is… different than the other people who have done fifteen augmentations. He is more together, more normal, but still a lying snake. Avoid him. Do not contact him. Have nothing to do with him. He hurts people.

The girl I mentioned was named Jennifer Trost. She came to us very upset one day, wanting an exorcism. We didn't know she had mutilated herself with Gutierrez, or that she worked for Augcorp. She seemed a completely normal girl.

We asked what was troubling her, and she told us that she was hallucinating, her vision was blurry, and that – here is the funny part – her hands often moved without her moving them. This sounded like classic demonic possession to us, so we performed an exorcism. When it didn't work, she became very abusive, calling us "Luddites" and "a dangerous cult."

She stormed out of the church, having uttered many swear words. We do not allow swear words in our churches.

I've seen a reference to Jenny……….I'm sure it's her in the transcripts that have been posted briefly on this site. It is heart wrenching to read what she has to say. I think someone had been playing with her "changed anatomy" to make her see the things she had…
I also have seen the word, Luddite, mentioned often here too. Oh yes, Gutierrez. Hmm….Gutierez controlling her mind and body after augmentation?

This sounds nigh on apocalyptic. How do you know the war is coming? That isn't asked out of disbelief, but of interest. I feel some deep part of me telling me that something disastrous will come of AugCorp, and I want to be prepared when it does. I would happily join you in Louisville if I were closer, but sadly I’m roughly 4000 miles from you at the moment. Which is a shame, because I would happily help, and would truly appreciate the help you've offered.

One of the scions is responsible for Mach Girl's demise, and it's probably the one who is the Antichrist. I am unsure which one it is, but given their unique abilities, either of them could conceivably destroy the mundo, or remake it in their own image. I currently suspect it will be the Scire scion, because his abilities are less about destruction and more about control. Though, it could be the Mather scion – he has great potential for creating chaos to his own advantage. They're both currently in Cleveland, and I may come up there to look for them. The thing is: they're both hiding, and doing a quite good job of it, too. Joseph Mather is hiding his scion in plain sight, and the Scire scion is hiding himself. Neither of them have really demonstrated the full extent of their abilities yet, but they will, if given the chance.

Are you in Cleveland? If someone begins speaking to you and says, "I think we can agree…" cover your ears and hum. Or run away. Likewise, if the ground starts shaking or things break, run away. These two are terribly dangerous. I wonder if they know about each other. If they team up, we are all doomed.

I'm far from Cleveland. At first I thought it was a shame, but now I'm learning more, it's a blessing that I'm so far away from all this. Part of me still wants to augment, but nothing to do with AugCorp, and definitely without a Zero. If I were closer, I might have rushed into it, and that's a terrifying thought.
What are these scions? I've heard a lot of mentions of them, but I'm still not totally sure what it means.
And also, I can't help but notice you're slipping into Spanish for certain words. Worrying, considering what that normally leads to. Did you have AugCorp work done before you realised how evil they were? Anything they could control?

Good to hear you're not in the Midwest, but don't think you're safe. I have a feeling that when the war starts, everyone everywhere will suffer, but it will probably start in the Midwest. It involves Augcorp, and Augcorp's headquarters is in Cincinnati. I'm glad you're safe, though. Zero is extremely dangerous, but lots of people do it, because they don't know the truth. All they know is Augcorp's propaganda.

A scion is a descendent of a powerful person. They are the descendents of people with power, the founders of the augmentation movement. There are several scions, but they're unimportant. There are only two that matter, and those are the son of Joseph Mather and the descendant of Patrick Scire. They are both highly uncanny, and have abilities that augmentation cannot explain. I know for sure that they didn't get these abilities by hacking up their body and implanting things. They were born with these abilities.

The Mather scion can move things with his mind, but not reliably, and most of his ability emerges when he is upset. That is why he is so dangerous. He could bring down whole buildings if he wanted to, or got angry enough. The Scire scion is another matter entirely. His powers involve the mind, and are much more insidious. He has killed people before, just by telling them to do it.

As I said, they're both in Cleveland, but they're hiding from everyone, and each other. They're probably using fake names, but I'm sure if someone tried, they could discover their true identities. I've been trying, but my mind is going, and it's hard. I sometimes slip into Spanish if I'm not very careful. It's a struggle to write this only in English, but I will strive to hang onto my communication abilities for as long as possible. Yes, I've worked for Augcorp. I had Augmentation Zero, and a few others. Zero is the dangerous one – it's what allows them to destroy you if you defy them.

UPDATE: I really, really love where this story is going.

The Scire scion can control minds, but only in a very specific way. I mentioned the phrase "I think we can agree…" That is key to it. Let me use an example. If he wants you to kill yourself, he might say, "I think we can agree that your life is hard. Kill yourself." If you actually agree to the first sentence, then you have to follow through and do what he says in the second part. He's very crafty, though, and can word things in just the right way to get what he wants.

If you pay attention to some of the scripts of Patrick Scire, he uses that phrase in the same manner, and it works, because he had the same ability. He was a humanitarian, though, and only used it to get laws passed to benefit humanity. I don't know who the Scire scion is. An anonymous source told me that both scions are on this social network, but they're using aliases. They may not even be posting. There are a lot of lurkers.

My biggest fear is that they will recognize each other and team up. If they do, the world is doomed.

So I just got word back from Daniel---we were right; Frances is the girl with the meaningful name. She has a disease, apparently, one once studied by some researcher called Tennov. He says we might find info on it somewhere, but I was at work and couldn't check. He suspects Mather and Scire of trying to 'destroy the world and remake it in their image'. They're both in Cleveland, but Mather is in hiding. He keeps referring to them as 'scions'--I'm going to ask him what that means. He also told me that if anyone says 'I think we can agree....' to cover my ears and run, or if the ground shakes or things start breaking----hinting, perhaps, at the ability to exert control on others' minds and some form of telekinesis, perhaps? More to come.

Frances bailed 'Expy' out of jail, but one Anthony Kore----that's Anthill--called him up for a long conversation that had him shouting, and he wouldn't tell her anything about it. Time to ask him, maybe?

So, reading the conversation Alex had with Daniel, the scions are on the forum. I'm thinking that Andrew Em is the son of Joseph Mather. The other one I have no idea yet. Andrew used the phrase "I think we can agree", but it looks to me that he used it as a joke.
