Sorry for the double tap...just an fyi...got a response email:
Quote:
Dear Recruit
Your application had been received.
You need to activate your profile to receive further communication for Stage 1 by clicking the link below:
Click here to confirm your your profile.
R. Stewart Navarre
Foreign Area Officer (FA 48J)
U.S. Marine Corps
I clicked the confirm, no response. Did some digging, and found R. Stewart Navarre is the VP of CNS Response...from their website:
Quote:
CNS Response is a neuroscience company focused on improving the quality of treatment for patients with brain disorders, by providing objective information to prescribers.

Col. Navarre is retired from the USMC, according to his bio:

I recieved the same confirmation email. I also checked out the link for CNS that you posted, thanks for that. There is so much information on that site, it was too much to take in right now. It seems that CNS primarily focuses on psychiatric assistance for veterans with PTSD. But something about the bios for the executives seemed shady. I'm going to have to look deeper into it when i have some more free time. I have a feeling that if this goes anywhere there might be some valuable clues on that website.

I don't think CNSResponse is in-game. A whois of their website shows it was registered back in 2000 and was last updated in 2012.

I was doing a search for other mentions of Ghost Recruit and came across a tip regarding hidden info on the "Stage 1, sign-up page".
http://www.zombiegamer.co.za
I don't know if i did it right but I saved both the "Ghost Recruit" image and the "Stage 1" image and opened them in a word document. Of course it was encoded and I'm totally new at all of this so I don't know how to translate it. I've tried everything that makes sense to me and still nothing. However, at the bottom of the text I did find something interesting. There are words that are readable at the bottom of both text documents. For the "Ghost Recruit" image it was the words "camp_toccoa" and for "Stage 1" it was "Springfield".
I did some quick searching for Camp Toccoa and Springfield and I found a couple of things. Camp Toccoa is an old paratrooper training base in Georgia (United States). It's now used as a historical site. But also, Camp Toccoa is the first mission in Call Of Duty. In this mission you fire different weapons one of them being the Springfield rifle.
I don't know if I'm on to something or if it's just a coincidence.
Also, I still haven't received any further emails after the first from Navarre. The link to the confirmation page stated, "Stand By. We will be in contact soon." I wonder how soon they mean.

I found a number in the donations PDF:
There was also a fax number i can't use.
240-694-2000
It leads to their voicemail box ima call at business hours tomorrow.
On and their voicemail is very unusual from normal voicemail boxes. Call past 5:00 pm and leave a message. You'll see what I mean.
I've been spamming the crap out of the voicemail directories. I found a few names on there.
Ima follow these leads. I think I found a lot of useless stuff on Google...
First ARG discovery EVER! XD

This is my first full game so I'll be trying to figure out the ropes, mostly. I'm going to send an application and see what to do from their.
[EDIT] I put on the application that I'm from Free State, which is a real place. I wonder if that is going to matter considering I'm nowhere near South Africa.

Hi Peeps,
That CNSresponse website looks totally OOG so i really wouldn't waste time searching it and i think it is just a coincidence on the name sharing. That website has been active since 2000 and it appears to be an actual company website with a huge amount of data on it.

I agree with what you say but I think it's worth noting that (as far as I can tell) PEER technology doesn't exist. The site says that it's predecessor is rEEG, which is a real thing, but this is the only mention of PEER that I've found.

I looked up "PEER interactive military" and came up with a few hits. All from 2012/2013. It seems legit.
Edit: By legit I mean maybe it's a dead end. But I could be totally wrong.

I stumbled upon a Wikipedia page for South African Special Forces while searching "south africa recruiting covert ops". It was last updated on June 23, 2014. Very recent.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_African_Special_Forces
There is info on that page regarding paratroopers, which made me think about the "camp toccoa" clue that I was trying to follow earlier.
