Based on the ADI forum I think it's going to be too difficult to get everyone on board with this as they are already posting solutions.
And what have you tried to prevent that from happening?
With a bit of coordination between here and the G+ group it should be possible. It's not going to happen by itself.
Maybe the message Ripley is trying to get to us will offer some guidance about what to alter. For now building trust with ADI seems a good path to follow.
But once the milligrams become kilograms... it might be too late.
Greetings,

Tadao - why do you think Hartlepool is the common ground?

If you go about 8km wnw of Hartlepool you'll see Roper's Wood and there is water running into a resivore. Probably a little waterfall there.

Hey - anyone and everyone reading this and whom is also registered at the ADI forum board - if we do not have 20 yes votes for the solution and then the final draft - ADI will not open the next projects, if you have even a few minutes to head into project 6 and project 7 and vote for things, it will keep things from coming to a halt and I am curious to see where the journals go - the puzzles are fun, but if you follow the conversations on the g+ you will see there is some potentially interesting backstory/lore behind things

I think it was at a football game. I'm not into soccer though so I don't know. They sure talk about it though "you old Monkey Hanger".
Could be a famous Hartlepool v York City, that seems to be the only FB connection.

I'm imagining them meeting each other at a football game. Ripley is a fan of Hartlepool and Watson is a York fan. On their FB it shows the 2 different teams in there sports likes. Also they talk about football and never about college.

Interesting approach, interesting candidate.
Both teams did share quite some time in League Two it seems, so they certainly have played each other a few times.

Wiki says that as of 2007 they are rivals. The date tells me they were not rivals back in the old days, but it also tells me they are probably always playing each other.

The interns that are in the G+ group have decided to, from now on, first discuss the decodes/translations before posting them to the ADI forum.
They will look at each individual document to see if it requires and allows some tampering.
Meanwhile, project 8 is schedule for release in a few hours... if project 6 has been completed. So far the presentation has only received 13 of the needed 20 yes votes.
Please vote if you have not done so yet:

Hi all - Just started trying to catch up; apologies if I have missed something. I was considering trying to sign on late as an intern here
http://www.acoustic-distortion.com/outreach/
and noticed the 'research path' which I haven't seen reference to in the discussion. Has anyone tried to contact them as a possible 'researcher' with a made up project to see if it provides another way into the company?

I tried that early on and they sent me a link to the intern path. I'm not sure what would happen now, I don't remember any one mentioning it. One guy emailed them to buy weapons and I emailed them about an uncle who is interested in giving them money for research, but they never got back to be nor the other guy as far as I know.
I'd go for it and see if they push you down Intern path like they did me.

Based on the amount of spam, it's clear that the forums are open for anyone to join.

Project 8 has now been unlocked, it has been translated but we're keeping it of the forum for now: https://plus.google.com/104515297159708891099/posts/gxA1rmffsAu
Project 7 needs only 3 more Yes votes for the Final Presentation to be unlocked: http://www.acoustic-distortion.com/internforums/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=983
After Friday night... no further messages from Ripley nor Watson.

A procedure change has been suggested to finish a project faster. It is posted to the Project 8 Sounding Board.
