[ALFA-ARKIV] Trailer?

Looks like a preview or trailer for ALFA-ARKIV.

There is a quick glimpse in there of Rhea receiving electroconvulsive therapy, which can cause memory loss. Based on the story she tells in the Alfa-Arkiv documents, is it possible that this is how they were able to make her "confess" to the terrorist actions of a fictitious alter-ego, Rhea Aliyeva? Somehow, we will eventually need to reconcile the narratives of Rhea Numitorova, the Junsui girl who was born in Kosvinsky and bred/raised to be a psy-ops courtesan, and Rhea Aliyeva, the mujahideen/shahidka girl who was born in Ingushetia at T'khaba-Yerdi. They can't both be true.

Are those the ones from the Alfa-Arkiv intro screen after the search command executes?

Yep.

I think we also should study the image shown after the therapy video as well. I'm sure we will need to align one of the sisters with one of the glyphs (The Kitsune, The Martyr, The (One Who Had) Conception, The (One From) Yamantau) and keep in mind the directional orientation of the ritual.

Here they are with translations from Alfa-Arkiv.

We already knew this, but the 7 glyphs/ciphers very obviously correlate to the 7 elements here:

Element-----Glyph/Cipher
Unity------------Origin
Harmony-------Communion
Water-----------Conception
Sky-------------Kitsune
Earth-----------Yamantau
Fire-------------Martyrdom
Body------------Rebirth

Thanks for the screens. Another thought: the Unity glyph reminds me of the Sun. Rather than "North" we'll probably have to associate the positions of the sisters for the communion oriented with the direction of the sun at the communion location.

From reading the documents in Alfa-Arkiv, I am pretty sure that Vera is martyrdom/fire, Oksana is kitsune/sky, and Rhea is conception/water. Not sure about the rest yet.

Just finished Arkiv 04. I think Rhea should be Brown/Yamantau. She makes note of Vera's dress being red and her own being brown.

I've been following this since 2009, but I can't login to my old account, so I guess I start fresh...

The link http://5.9.155.209/ = It works! (non content yet)
has the VW logo on the tab. If you go to the facebook page of Volkswagon and post anything to their page with Alpha-Cipher on it obviously messes with the page, but this time it talks about Chernobyl after a bit. It seems kinda different from the other fortune 500 companies, but at this point they are all starting to look the same.

Anyway, the youtube video that plays behind the Alpha-Cipher chaos is this: http://youtu.be/CBFSRiuNfFM

I'm not sure if it is different than most of the other videos or not. I'm also fairly certain if I stare at the facebook Alpha-Cipher pages long enough I will probably start having seizures.

Interesting find. Doing some snooping I found the possible domains of a few of these IPs...

178.124.138.165 is http://www.belneftekhim.by/
89.111.184.71 = http://a-1.com/
91.207.114.138 = http://obolensk.org
217.118.87.98 = http://beeline.ru/

There also seems to be english-language translations of most of this content, however, the changing content layout leads me to believe that the Russian site says something totally different from the English site.

edit: I recognize the logo on obolensk.org from one of the Alfa-Arkive files that pertained to a detainee file: http://issuu.com/lassgg/docs/04______archivo_completo page 73

Obolensk.org is the site for the Russian State Research Center for Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology. Are you talking about the final document in Alfa-Arkiv with the details of Rhea's electroconvulsive therapy?

According to that document and a few others, it looks like there is a facility called Belyaev Lab at Alkino-2/Yamantau. I don't think this is a coincidence -- Dr. Dmitri Konstantinovich Belyaev was a Soviet geneticist, famous for his work in, get this, the genetic basis for the domestication of the silver fox (vulpes vulpes).

wikipedia wrote:

Dmitri Konstantinovich Belyaev (Russian: Дмитрий Константинович Беляев, 17 July 1917 – 14 November 1985) was a Russian geneticist who served as director of the Institute of Cytology and Genetics (IC&G) of the Soviet Academy of Sciences from 1959 to 1985. His decades-long effort to breed domesticated foxes has been described by the New York Times as "arguably the most extraordinary breeding experiment ever conducted."[1] A 2010 article in Scientific American stated that Belyaev "may be the man most responsible for our understanding of the process by which wolves were domesticated into our canine companions."[2]

Beginning in the 1950s, in order to uncover the genetic basis of the distinctive behavioral and physiological attributes of domesticated animals, Belyaev and his team spent decades breeding the wild silver fox (Vulpes vulpes) and selecting for reproduction only those individuals in each generation that showed the least fear of humans.[1] After several generations of controlled breeding, a majority of the silver foxes no longer showed any fear of humans and often wagged their tails and licked their human caretakers to show affection. They also began to display spotted coats, floppy ears, curled tails, as well as other physical attributes often found in domesticated animals, thus confirming Belyaev's hypothesis that both the behavioral and physical traits of domesticated animals could be traced to "a collection of genes that conferred a propensity to tameness—a genotype that the foxes perhaps shared with any species that could be domesticated."[1]

Belyaev, who especially during the early years of his experiment was risking his life by defying the anti-Darwinian, anti-Mendelian Soviet scientific establishment, has been recognized in recent years by major scientific journals as a pioneering figure in modern genetics.

Yup. Contextual reinforcement of the selective breeding that happened to these women.
