Hi Pam,

Yes it is OK to call me Melody. Several others had told me that about the professor, including Krystal and now she is missing. Gosh I hope she is ok.
The police have not been much help, since she went to see him on her own, they refused to get involved! Well, there is nothing we can do about that except wonder. I keep telling myself she is just fine, and is having such a
great time, that she forgot to tell anyone. We can hope for the best can't we?

Anyway I have not had as much luck here in Eugene as I had hoped. All I have come up with are dead ends. No one seems to be able to get in touch with Clarence, there was nothing in the abandoned car, the Dry Cleaners had closed up last year, I'm tempted to try and find out if he had a library card and see what books he has been checking out. Well, my week of vacation
is just about over, so I guess I will be heading home with not much to show for it. I am so disappointed, I was hoping to have something more than an envelope of dried out... dried ... Well, I don't even want to think
about what it is.

And while I have been gone, there seems to have been a computer virus someone has in thier computer that keeps sending me infected e-mails, and it is even faking people's addresses such as Marcus's. Gosh I hope I
didn't indavertantly pass it on to someone else. Pam, can you contact our little group and let them know they should all check their computers? I will be running a virus scan on mine as soon as I get home. Hopefully we can
stop this one and not keep passing it back and forth like a real virus.

I wish I had some idea of what I could look into next.
