Yeah, you did come in a little too late. All the codes that influenced the story were placed at the beginning of the game. It's too late for any of us to help.

 		If you notice in #3 of the new Channel, Gabriel says that all of these videos occurred a year earlier. We can assume this took place in April of 2014, scheduled to upload exactly a year after like he said.

And yes, it seems Gabriel has taken on the persona of the unreliable narrator. Not only lying to us, but keeping information.
