I should have thought to look at the WHOIS first, but instead I looked otherwheres last night and found this:

I only find this interesting because it looks like in July of this year he's saying it's alive again.

The reason this attracted me in the first place is I spoke to a friend who played the original TINP, and I guess the first puzzle was that image of the oven that's on the twitter account. Not that that means it's legit, but it at least suggests it's connected.

Anyway, a bit more searching, I found a [url="http://cellar.org/showthread.php?t=6096"]REALLY LONG FORUM[/url] which looks like was fairly active up until less than a year ago. It looks like the forum may have followed all renditions of the game, I can't tell, and it looks like the current home page of TINP.com is a puzzle that nobody ever solved and is now the homepage(?). It seems to be the main focus of the forum on the last page at least.

Anyway, hidden somewhere in the forum they link the image in the spectrogram to this album
