So I've been reading the original EMH thread (WAAAAAAY back to the beginning). How many, if any, of the posters from that thread are still here? I'm a bit saddened to see the interest in EMH (gauged by the number of posts in the threads for each year) kind of waning on here.

Looks like the game has reached it's final catalyst before the endgame. Very Happy

The encoded message might be linked to Blue room, maybe linked to that door sound effect that got us all riled.

I personally believe it's either Steph's essence posting this, HABIT, or Steph for real. Maybe this is what HABIT was going for. A change or shift in the Reiteration Cycle that will change the story.

I see no reason for Steph to be alive. Her being one of the "Mining Town Four" wouldn't save her, since HABIT had no problem killing Jeff. And why would HABIT eat the baby and spare the mother? And she didn't just escape and go into hiding for all these years; I seriously doubt she would've left the baby behind, and after the baby was dead, well. HABIT spoke aloud to Evan, saying "I know you want to die, but not yet. Not until you watch me break her". I imagine seeing a monster wearing the skin of the man she loved kill and eat the child they created together (assuming he did kill her first; he could easily have just started taking bites out of her... aaaand I just gave myself nightmares, I'm sure of it) would have broken her so much she would have lost any will to live, let alone escape.

Although. This new blog post, whoever posted it, could be a clue that Steph was the person on the other side of the door at the end of "The Blue Room". Maybe she did escape, or HABIT let her go. And now he's brought her back to shove her into this situation with Vinny... goddamnit I hate these kind of plot twists! They never make any sense!

Oh holy shit. I just thought of another possibility. Speaking of bringing people back from the dead... Read that blog post again. What if it's Jessa!? We never got concrete proof she was dead, although it seemed like a very reasonable assumption. Well, a couple hours ago I would've said the same about Steph.

Fuck. Now I'm all scatterbrained. They better not tease us with this and then give us months of absolutely nothing.

Holy cow!

Ok, my immediate pre-coffee thoughts:

1. This could be a queued post that Steph put up a long time ago, but felt she had some reason to withhold...maybe she could see what was going on with HABITEvan and felt the need to send us a coded message?

2. It's someone posting as Steph, trying to get a secret message to us. I just can't see Steph actually being alive herself; barring, I suppose, some sort of time-screwing and universe-warping that may or may not be happening.

3. HABIT is fucking with us, in the most heartwrenching way he can at the moment.

I can't make sense of the rest of the title, though. "view source queue blog"? What does that mean? I looked in the page source, but I didn't find anything.
