he's actually quoted the song a few times as well. I knew there was something up with the way L I O N was written.... thank you for figuring that part out. I feel dumb LOL Okay, I'm gonna try to match all this stuff up so far {I'm fairly sure we won't get a representation of "warm smell of colitas" but yeah, there has been a LOT else so far}
Bear with me while i post/edit/post/edit rinse repeat
EDIT: it will be easier for me to do this in in a spread sheet, so for now you can view my work here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1dIvvNNkgV6ocjMW3wCjjzmehaHN2CKXA1SD4zh2X57o/edit?usp=sharing
Pixie, I realized this last night. Line 34 in your spreadsheet. "Project Alibi."

I get what you are saying, but it's meta. The spreadsheet is just stuff he has said, done, or seen that applies to the song.

And we're at the "and you can never leave" stage of the song...

Hmm. A mythical plant with white flowers. The article goes on to point to a real plant (snowdrop) with useful properties although it's an early spring flower and thus we need a fall-blooming cousin:
Quote:
Medical historians have speculated that the transformation to pigs was not intended literally but refers to anticholinergic intoxication. Symptoms include amnesia, hallucinations, and delusions. The description of "moly" fits the snowdrop, a flower of the region that contains galantamine, which is an anticholinesterase and can therefore counteract anticholinergics.
This article says there is a late fall one:
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snowdrop
Edit (going on too much, I know):
Quote:
This fall-blooming form of the giant snowdrop selected at Carolyn's Shade Gardens began flowering on November 1 this year and will be offered in the 2014 Snowdrop Catalogue. Technically it is called Galanthus elwesii var. monstictus Hiemalis Group CSG-01, what a mouthful.
Now that's in Pennsylvania, farther north than Talbot so even that is not likely to be blooming near him right now. Assuming it has any relevance at all to our tale. . But the fair Carolyn answers that question too. There are varieties that bloom in October:
Quote:
I readily admit that I am a snowdrop addict—a galanthophile. And I can even understand how some gardeners fail to get excited about these little white flowers in the spring. However, in November and December when even the hardy cylcamen are done, snowdrops are so bright and cheerful that the winter doldrums disappear the minute I see them. You can even have flowers beginning in mid-October by planting the earliest blooming species Galanthus reginae-olgae. For more on fall-blooming snowdrops, click here.

And here's a pic of the October bloomer:

He is exploring now. In the basement area. What a goof. Said in a text he's going to stay at the hotel a while.

He came across what might be our first puzzle - a locked gate, a bunch of skills (9 to be exact) embedded in the wall, and an inscription stating "THE DEPARTURE OF PRIDE WILL ALLOW YOU INSIDE"
Thoughts?

Solved.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
DEPARTURE OF PRIDE references the death of Dickie Pride on March 26, 1969. He's part of the 27 club. When Talbot pressed the skulls in the order 3-2-6-1-9-6-9 the fate swung open into the courtyard.
ETA: even though I've been out of the loop for years, it's still an amazing feeling to solve a puzzle in real time.

No because it is pretty much taking place on FB. His posts are basically our ingame chat room, and when there is action, everything is happening too fast for a meta room for the most part.
ETA: My tummy is all in knots!!!! I miss this sooo much, staying up late, hitting refresh, hoping a character is "okay", on the edge of my seat!!

Just was wondering, since really we shouldn't be meta talking in his posts.

I agree, but it is far from just UFers playing, and a lot of them don't grasp that. Just don't talk meta yourself and it'll be okay but yeah, pretty much here, there is some OOG meta g+ community set up by a proxy player (link in stickies thread) and that's about it.
