If you're in a city with laser shows...

For my sins I was sent to Boston for three weeks for some training for work. No offense to Bostonians, but this New Yorker suffered from it. That said, I found out that the Museum of Science had a series of planetarium laser shows. We too used to have them before our planetarium was remodeled- I dunno, guess the museum decided they were tired of people having fun on the cheap or something. Anyway, they had a Daft Punk show and a Pink Floyd show. I went to both for $8 each (normally $10 but if you get 2 tickets, you get a discount).

I'm not going to mislead you folks- The Wall was vastly better than the Daft Punk one. So if you're in the area and get the chance, definitely see it.

That said the Daft Punk one was fun, tho it mostly consisted of the random swirls and such as opposed to pictures. BUT when they did a song from the Tron:Legacy soundtrack, it had a Tron theme of falling into the digital landscape, lightcycle races, etc.

So I know it isn't much, but if you want a fun, inexpensive taste of Tron again and you have the chance to attend a Daft Punk laser show, I'd say go for it!

That's pretty fair. There is a place here in Vegas called 'Brooklyn Bowl' and they always bring in headliners for like... less than $35 which is EXTREMELY reasonable.

Brooklyn Bowl is at the Link (redone/remodeled/renamed Imperial Palace) in the middle of the city walk leading to the High Roller (the giant ferris wheel).
