Sent HABIT an email. I'll post again if he replies, aha.

"The Words" might be referring to canyouseethewords, but it hasn't updated since July.

I've yet to get a reply. Maybe I should try twitter or the main EMH account? I'm worried they just haven't been checking the seventrialsofhabit email since it's been a bit since the video came out. xD

Just a thought, but has anyone tried sending the "code" from one of the previous videos to the accounts? Not sure of the video's name, but a code is mentioned as well as someone begging people to "stop watching".

I'm kind of shocked that 2015 is over & they only updated 5 times. Whatever plan they were angling for clearly is not working.

Yeah I sort of thought that the series would end by now, but it's been like this since...what, 2014? I've actually lost interest in the Slender Man mythos because it takes series so long to update.

2015 was kind of a slow year for the mythos. EverymanHYBRID and the other series kind of took a break and came back late last year. Maybe 2016 will see their resurgence.

I know it's been kind of slow for a while, but I don't necessarily mind a video every month or 2. Back when I was reading Fullmetal Alchemist , I'd have to wait a few months for the next volume to come out. But I hope DarkDragon is right, because even I'm having a hard time seeing this as anything other than dead.

Man i came back to the forums to see how the discussions were going, before, i didn't want to put any attention to the story because i kinda catched it late in the game and i had no idea what was going on, and was even more disencouraged when i found out how many extra information besides YouTube i had to keep up with.
I finally read it all and i found it really interesting actually, it's a mess of a story but all the pieces are there.
Now my only problem after watching the Part 3 video, is, how long are they going to keep going with the "HABIT is in control of everything" thing? Is like watching a snuff film and you endured 5 hours of torture and you are just like "FOR GOD SAKE SOMEONE DO SOMETHING ALREADY".

I am in the middle of watching part 4 and I must say, I am quite impressed that they managed to use a freaking MINECRAFT MAP in the ARG. God I wish I was in on this whole thing back then. Anyway, what version did the map need? I would like to play it for myself.

And the updates were so slight too. You could probably sum up the important plot developments on this year on the back of a business card and still have space to jot down the less important ones too.
If they are waiting for some significant development to happen on the ARG side of things then I'm surprised they haven't nudged people more overtly in that direction. Sending out a call for two specific rabbits seems kind of excessively hopeful when you consider how many people have drifted away from following the series over the years so I'm not even sure whether that was intended to advance the ARG or was just something sent out for the sake of making a bit of content. Plus these guys have got to get on with their lives sooner or later, they can't just lurk around forever waiting for a puzzle to be solved when that puzzle might never be solved (particularly since far fewer people are working away at the puzzles than were back at the height of this stuff).
If they aren't waiting for ARG shit to happen, the delays are baffling. I can only assume some OOG logistical snag is defeating their original plan, but at this point if that's the case they really need to just give up the original plan, move on and come up with some other way to push the story on rather than just dithering about in a holding pattern that shows no signs of ever breaking. Particularly as more of the cast and crew move away from college and get TRUE LIFE RESPONSIBILITIES and all that jazz they just can't count on everyone's schedule magically resolving itself, and in general if you spend a whole year waiting for a problem to fix itself and it doesn't get fixed it's probably time to start working on the assumption that it won't get fixed any time soon.
Tom Servo sort of sums up my feelings on this better than I could.

Is not even about the updates, it's more like we have been seeing the same shit since the series started, it was great at first but now it has sort of devolved into ''Let's watch the EMH crew hopelessly build a sandcastle to have HABIT stepping on it the next video".
It has become a snuff film to me, expect some extreme Deus Ex Machina explanations when they defeat HABIT (If they do at all) because they made him so powerful that i just don't see how Vinny is supposed to win at all. And even worse, the one giving us clues is HABIT so i don't think the EMH crew can't do shit anymore

Gotta admit, part of what drove me away from EMH was how prominent HABIT became.
In particular, Evan playing Evan always came across more interesting than Evan playing HABIT because HABIT isn't a character so much as he's a scenery-chewing cartoon serial killer.

Is there a new thread for this year? There was a new video posted last month, so I wanted to know if people are still active on here. Redit isn't so much.
