 		i'm inclined to believe the audio file's either gonna match up with a video, either present or in the past, or with another to-be-released audio file. idk, something about the name second set of ears makes me feel like it's not a clue on it's own.

yeah it seems likely that it's going to match up to an audio file that we'll get later, but it's probably also worth going back over any audio we already have that didn't make sense in the past.

 		Could it align somehow with the WAV file we got when they broke Steph out of the hospital? The fact that they're the same file type and that we got the first clue from her blog might suggest a connection of some sort.

if anyone has a copy of the file i could try to line them up in audacity.

EDIT: just tried it, and nothing. at least not with the first 50 seconds of audio. maybe it needs to line up with a specific part of the file?

 		Obligatory joy at having activity.

Okay, so: the .WAV file. I downloaded it and listened to it, and noticed that it was forty-nine seconds long. Then, I immediately starting trying to find videos or other files that were also forty-nine seconds long. Lo and behold, I found one. Not on the YouTube channel, but on the CanYouSeeTheWords blog; Steph's first video, "Moving In." It can be found here, if you're curious:

I think it's likely that they're pointing us towards CanYouSeeTheWords and not elsewhere, as the code was found on that blog. (The "View Source" part of the title also piqued my interest).

My audio skills are terrible. I downloaded the video off Tumblr, ripped the audio, and got them synced, but I'm about half deaf, so I'm really not the best person to try to muddle through what she's saying now. The distortion does seem to be blocking out certain words, but I can't tell if the edited audio says anything interesting or revealing.

Anyone else want to give it a try? Might be nothing, but I'd say that those file lengths are awfully misleading if that's the case.


EDIT: Strike that. The audio code is obviously for the tail end of the new video.

 		Well that was quick.

They could have waited until we pored over at least a years worth of videos desperately trying to match it up with something until we eventually stumbled upon something that almost kind of works and came up with some insane theory based on it.

 		is there any other way to decode that further though? i mean all i noticed right now is just static instead of cuts. it doesn't really make any of it clearer.

they actually seem to be two different websites! the .info site is basically a mirror of the tumblr with a different title, from what i can see in the source code.
