Okay, I don't know if anyone else caught this...I did because i'm the one who had the chat with Melody. Let's take tonight's version against my spec with melody last night. Is it just a coincidence?

It seems to me that Virginia died in an accident, explaining the blood in the car, and was dragged into the river, where she continued to bleed. Wouldn't this explain the blood problem? Maybe I'm missing something, just trying to do my part...

I don't think it could be Marcus. His picture (on the Ideltech website, which appears to be down again) was not of a man who would be easily mistaken for a bear. WC is definitely bearish in figure, so that makes more sense.

But more broadly, I seem to be getting a bit lost. Isn't it a bit early to speculate on the whys and whos with the little information we have? I'm not at all sure who WC or Marcus or the DOD is up to, so I'm wondering if folks here are taking pot shots or if I've missed something among all the posts. I'm finding the info a bit thin at this point, and can't seem to get a good bead on the people we're dealing with. I've read everything thus far, but can't see how people have taken up sides at this point.

I guess this is still "pre-game", whatever that means with all this action, but I'm wishing for a bit more information or forward motions. Probably a sign of some basic character flaw, this impatience of mine...

(by the way, what kind of Native American tribe these days would refer to a car as a chariot?)

I think she meant that, in response to the question of whether Marcus wore a beard, that it would have been a problem under his football helmet, him being a jock at the time.

And a few posts back, I wasn't really asking what specific tribe it was, but, ahem, musing on the probability that an extant group of Native Americans, no matter how remote, would call a car a "chariot". Perhaps I'm culturally illiterate here, but that seems...unlikely. I suppose, though, that they could be a lost tribe, like Ishi...
