Double fun then because that day was a Wednesday : ) But then perhaps initials and initiation date or other important date?

Has anyone been able to find any codes to enter the Plus Ultra Society site besides the one from the dead drop?

There is a memo mentioning member codes on the backs of pins... not sure if there have been pictures of the backs of the pins anywhere

I am also trying the dates of the different memos as the first one seemed like a date code

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
day of week first three letters capitalized month no leading 0 day and then full year AKA WED4221964

Also, I found it funny how they reference the Disney Amelia photo - that is a nice "joke" Smile

I think the WED in the code doesn't refer to the day of the week but the sender. Walt Disney's full name is Walter Elias Disney, making his initials WED.

New post today recapping the plaque and new website. Ends speculatively about the next stage, mentioning "'immersive motion pictures'" and "woo [us] with nostalgia", and ends with a new image.

Noted the signature "Peregoy '64". A quick bit of research matches this to Walter Peregoy, a Disney Animator who worked on some of the animated classic films around the time of the late 50s/early 60s. Not sure where to go with that.

Interesting that they want you to enlarge the image. Looks like it might be inside of a drawer.

I assume it just means Takemetotomorrowland.com, which is an interactive look at some of the same concepts we're accustomed to by now (the city, the jetpacks and flying cars, the secret society).

The glass panel is a frame from one of the animations you can find there.

There's a puzzle game too where you can win a trip to Disneyland! I don't know if there are any real secrets to unlock, other than a fun little message that implies Steve Jobs was in contact with PlusUltra, and may even have joined himself Smile

I still think we should be looking into the codes on the back of the pins. Anyone care to share theirs?

If the glass panel is from the animation (makes sense, I should recheck that), what would it imply? The videos are YouTube listings, perhaps something lies in there?

Also, I'm all for the sweepstakes game thing. I'm actually more excited that the third prize is one of 100 Tomorrowland pins. I would love having that bit of merch/loot!

Speaking of pins, I assuming you're talking about the ones handed out in Disneyland at the end of the Optimist?

StopPlusUltra tweeted an article about a Tesla related hotel robbery today.

So through pure guesswork I tried
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
http://www.stopplusultra.com/tesla/

And hey presto, they found a code on the back of his pin.

Lots of new images at http://plusultrasociety.com

I guess SPU is in-game after all...

(Edit: oh silly me. Now I see red slash hint!)

stop plus ultra doesnt seem to be disney, but regardless of that, there are some fascinating things I've discovered about disney due to this ARG that are quite real

Interesting choice for a ride..Its a small world.

recall the reference to the 1964 World Fair NY and the picture on the plus ultra society site

First of all it's worth noting that this picture indicates the world fair in new york 1964 was a masonic affair, though we may take or leave that

the reason I mention this is because the stuff I'm about to discuss relates to some of the very veiled and secret teachings of the occult

This youtube video is specifically for the 1964 world faire iasw. In the content, walt disney takes us on a guided tour of IASW. Come back to this video once you understand the symbols and you will be pretty fascinated with what you see.

'meet at the tower of the four winds' appears at 0:15
the tower of the four winds of course was and is outside of it's a small world

but what's interesting is the tower itself.

I searched 'meru tower of four winds' on a whim.
the symbol for meru might remind you of the 'trylosphere'....and the tower of four winds

but what is that? It's a portrayal of a three dimensional vortex.
you see, tesla was one of the first scientists to theorize about zero point energy. What are all the pictures in NT7141903 - well just a simple google search for tesla zero point brings all those images up

but that's only the tip of the iceberg....I can get to the really good stuff later if anyone cares. tatafor now

I think the trylosphere represents Wardenclyffe Tower (commonly known as the Tesla Tower) which went into testing on the same date of his password, and makes up a bulk of the documentation on plusultrasociety.com:

http://www.teslauniverse.com/nikola-tesla-timeline-1903-wardenclyffe-testing-begins

The tower was made for Tesla to experiment with wireless power and transmission across great distances, but the patents suggest teleportation may have been involved too. That sneaky Tesla!

This is probably leading up to the use of the Eiffel Tower in the movie. Maybe Eiffel meant for his tower to be a continuation of the Wardenclyffe Tower experiment.

The trailer shows the same technology from the patents visible in the Eiffel Tower:

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B84Hl_SCYAECTLC.jpg:large

That isn't to say Meru and the Freemasons aren't related. Maybe it's all wrapped up in the same mythology; maybe Tesla was inspired by these divine shapes and symbols that seem to recur throughout history. They all point towards higher planes of consciousness.

The Eiffel tower was not possibly a continuation of the Wardenclyffe Tower experiment, given that it was built decades beforehand.

What Wardenclyffe was used for was experimentation with transmission of electricity through the upper air strata, between long-distance points on the world. This would have been a marvelous achievement, as he predicted a minimal resistance, perhaps even less than a land-based wire, such as we use today. As well, were one to control the pattern in which certain electricity was sent to certain places, it would be wireless information transmission. While not better than the sort we use today, wi-fi, which is based off of radio-transmission if I recall, it would have been quite an interesting achievement for its time.

Please take note that actual scientific and real-world facts will not necessarily be involved in the movie. After all, it hails Edison as a 'great inventor' when in reality he was no such thing, but rather an undignified businessman who would steal patents any time the people who worked for him made anything. He was not the first to invent the lightbulb, but rather his team of 14 made the first sellable model, which are now being phased out for other light types such as the pre-florescent bulbs of Tesla.

Sorry to interrupt the topical discussion, but for some reason takemetotomorrowland.com's thrown a fast ball on me and is asking me to upgrade my browser to Chrome... when I'm already on Chrome, and I've been perfectly able to check the site up until now!

I dunno what's going on, it tells me I need JavaScript and WebGL for it to work, but from what I've seen, they've been working perfectly fine on my browser. What the heck am I supposed to do?

But in more ARG-themed news, we got a Q&A video from the woman who seems to have left us the audio cassette:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Strange thing, those visual glitches. Slender-Man flashbacks, anyone?

Me TOO! Anyone else know how to fix this and why it suddenly will not work?

She has a twitter account as well NYFairLady64 - and I was wondering about the pixel glitches, if they were just for atmosphere or something else.

I'm wondering if they're part of a code. Maybe if one takes note of what she's saying during each glitch, it might be emphasizing something important.

I'm on my mobile so I can't test it but Chrome did stop supporting NPAPI in its most recent release. NPAPI is the Plug-in API that enables stuff like Java, but it's slow, unstable and unsecure so Google has been looking to phase it out. Unfortunately most of the web still requires it, so you'll run into problems like this.

Try re-enabling NPAPI by going to chrome://flags, Ctrl+F to search for the "npapi" flag, then try turning it on again. See if that works.

And I suspect the StopPlusUltra gang have something to do with that spotty transmission Smile

Didn't seem to fix it, unfortunately. I check it to enabled, restarted chrome, but still getting redirected to the Fallback page.
