Infomercials, Cyan--yes! Or early morning programming for combo juicer-food dehydrators and miracle cleaning agents. Take me back to high school and college in the '90s. They could certainly do it.

EDIT: @%! Maybe that's why the Morningstar Sinclair: maybe there'll be these goofly little satires and then there'll be something a bit more "serious" with him on TV!

Couldn't see Morningstar Sinclair appearing in it but that exact format I totally could. Has all the traits of forever dated 90s programming.

The dude who did the Star Gazer show (or whatever the fuck it was called) on PBS died a few years ago. I could see Tim in a bit of a disguise to distinguish his in-series character (if he has one) as a more serious version of Sinclair. Either way, I'm fuckin' excited.

I used to watch that show every Saturday night! Always thought it was a fun way to start off the Scifi shows that aired afterwards.

Fun and informative before old eps of Danger Man or on Sundays before Fawlty Towers or Are You Being Served?

Good ol' Jack Horkheimer! I wondered if they based it on him, except Sinclair is much more abrasive of a character.

I remember it used to be called "The Star Hustler" back in the 70's. They changed it to "Star Gazers" in the 90s, for obvious reasons.

"Some people hustle pool, Some people hustle cars, But have you ever heard about The man who hustles stars?"

Oh, I'm pretty sure that was one of the inspirations. Though Tim said on the THAC Forum that both Sinclair's abrasive douchiness and the statement from the "Comets" installment of SpaceTime Express about how "This show goes out to over ten thousand homes a week, you think you're ready for that responsibility?" came from an asshole windbag who disrupted the filming of "No Quarter."

I also took a mathematical approach, but in a different way by dividing 44 by the number of seasons, then taking it a step further by dividing those results by the seasons as well (without dividing by 1 cause well, yeah). The results are truely uncanny.

44 divided by 3 (Season 3), is 14 (more exactly 14.66666666666667).

14 is the Entry where we see The Operator entering Alex's room and apparently being spooked, then ending up with a bloody forehead (somehow). I can only assume this is where he got his mental suggestion from The Operator to kill Seth. Which brings us into the next divisor.

44 divided by 2 (season 2) is 22. The entry where we see Seth's demise in the basement.

I took it even further and divided 14 by 3 and got 4.666666666666667, entry 4. Which we all know to to be the night time encounter at the playground.

14 divided by 2 is entry 7, the entry that Brian reads lines to Alex and ends with the sighting in the alley (with Alex driving off quickly).

22 divided by 3 is also, interestingly enough, entry 7 (more exactly, (7.333333333333333). Knowing that it lead to Entry 7, I looked at Entry 3. Entry 3 is Alex acting as if he knows he's being watched, but doesn't quite know by what yet. Entry 33 is when Jay opens the tapes in the hotel and gets chased down by masky. Though I think Entry 3 is more relevant, because of where this train of logic is going.

22 divided by 2 is Entry 11, where we see Alex, again, being suspicious about someone watching him. Then going back to his bed, with a ominous and by now obvious shadow going passed his wall causing a breeze blowing the papers that are on his wall. I'm going to take a wild guess and say that at this point, its actually Hoody. Mostly because, never before has The Operator had a significant presence to affect his surroundings (such as creating a breeze by moving too fast). Perhaps this is the first true sighting of Hoody. You'll see why I think this in the next section.

Because of the decimal point results, I decided to look at entry 66, 67, and 66.5. 66 is Tim explaining his history with the hospital, and them trying to catch up with Hoody. 67 is footage from Hoody trying to kill Alex. 67.5 is Jay and Tim meeting up to go to another hideout, cause they know Alex is trailing them.

And lastly, of course 44 divided by 1 is Entry 44 (duh). We see Alex drawing Operator symbols, the entity appearing, and disappearing along with Alex from his bed. Entry 44 could likely be Alex consciously accepting the fact that he's under the Operator's influence and was specifically contacting him. This may be the end result of the "mind link" that was causing Alex to draw in the first place. Maybe Entry 44 should be the first chronological Entry? Many people have agreed that entry 37 was just TTA screwing with Jay at that point.

Going by this train of logic, Its a suggested viewing order Alex's first sightings of The Operator. his suggestions to him to kill Seth. The suggestion to "change" Tim (I don't think it was a goal to Kill Tim. Alex could've done it any time he wanted, and has shown that he has the capacity to kill indiscriminately. He also changed Brian enough. Not sure how, but just enough so that he's not Brian anymore.

Perhaps the true intention was to change Seth, Brian and Tim into a receiver of sorts for the Operator. Alex was the first success, as he didn't die or go astray from the Operator. Seth failed, ended up dead or missing. Sarah likely died too. Amy as well. Brian was a marginal success, but the result was unexpected and unwanted, as Hoody openly mocks Alex for his failure by smiling at him. Tim was also an unexpected and unwanted result. Maybe Tim suffered the most, cause Alex was unaware of his previous psychological conditions.

This is just my take on it though.

I don't think that's a bad theory--except that Tim was the first target of the MH cast and crew (stretching back to the hospital--he's the one who spread the connection to others). What if TO is some bizarre kind of parasite that needs hosts and needs a sort of alpha host to attach to and work from others? Tim was trying to get better through therapy, drugs, and school, so TO jumped to Alex and then tried to feed (for lack of a better word) off the others. This triggered Tim's illness again, as TO had a more receptive host (because poor Alex was obviously an outsider). Whatever TO is, it feeds off of something generated by insecurity and fear--that seems obvious to me at least. Something biochemical, maybe. So when Tim was trying to change this somehow, TO jumped to Alex through the camera at the audition.

Thinking about it now, Entry 33 may have been an attempt to "change" Jessica and Jay. Jessica was in the beginning processes of it, but more or less "behind" Jay's current process, as its never been shown for Jessica to have uncontrolled actions like Jay has, but she has had large amounts of memory gone, due to interactions with the Operator. We don't know the full extent of Jessica's involvement. Entry 33, as we know, was the after math of the prequel entry 76, where we see Hoody and Masky taking Jessica away (probably so she could be "changed" or possibly saved, who knows what their true intent was with her. Maybe they wanted Jessica and Jay to be apart of their "team" against The Operator and Alex). This brings us again to the uncanny math involved (entry 76, 666666666666667).

Thinking about the renewed importance of 33, I did the math on that too. 33 Divided by 3 is entry 11, explained before. 33 divided by 2 is entry 16, Jay investigating a tip where Brian may be located. Over the course of the search, he finds Alex's drawings, the sink full of blood, the pills, and a bullet casing. He mentions strange noises, but not the severe coughing for some reason. Entry 5 is the highly distorted conversation between Alex and Jay about the filming site for Marble Hornets.

Also, 11 divided by 3 is entry 3 (3.666666666666667), and 11 divided by 2 is 5.5. Additionally, 16 divided by 3 is 5.3, and 16 divided by 2 is entry 8, where we see Alex drawing, then suspiciously turning off the lights. I think the math pretty much speaks for it self at this point. 44 is the key. I'm not making any of this up, you can do the math yourself if you want. I'm just going by what I see according to the results, based on 44.

Actually, you can round 3.66666-whatever and get 4. Cool
