The chess board...not quite sure how to work that one. Do I keep the white on the white side? Just as if I was playing a game of chess? I realize it's an anagram when the pieces are placed correctly. Just a tiny hint...thanks.

For the chest board, All the pieces are queens. Place them so that the black queens can't attack the white (in a single move) and the white can't attack the black.

Ok, here are some hints and spoilers for each puzzle.

28: the only letters that matter are the ones that are not censored.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

both pages are the same but have different letters blacked out. You are looking for the letters that are not blacked out in both pages. BETRAYAL

29: the black queens and white queens cannot intersect diagonally, horizontally or vertically. Put one white one on the E in the bottom row and the rest should be easy to figure out.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

the pawns should spell out CLEANSED

30: This puzzle is actually easier than it looks. The colors are the key.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

the colored boxes below the first set of words on the left page are used to find the answers. Start with the first color and write down each letter until that color runs out and then go to the next color. You should be able to fill in the blanks without too much trouble and you end up with the word REVENGE.

Hope this helped! And I hope there's another DIG next year!

Seems like it took me almost the whole game to figure out the tricks without hints, and now the game is over Confused
