Yes, there's one Bonus already, which you get after solving all puzzles through journal entry 15. It's a Behind the Scenes video. As for potentially hidden items that are not readily apparent, there's been two, kinda, both mentioned in the previous messages.

The site has been updated today with Chapter 1: The Death of Emma Wilson, bringing the amount of earnable points to 550 (up from 250).

Puzzle 1:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
TIPPED OFF

The precise cuts on this photo seemed suspicious. I didn't understand their significance until I came across this torn page on her desk and saw what the peaks were pointing out.

Click to rotate, and click and drag to move each half of the photo.

HOW DID EMMA DESCRIBE THE OBJECT OF HER DISDAIN?

Puzzle 1 hints:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Put the photo together and right-side up.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Place the photo in the dotted frame on the lined paper.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Start at the first "peak". Where does it point?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The first letter is U. The second is N.

Puzzle 1 solution:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
UNFAITHFUL

Puzzle 2:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
SPIRAL NOTEBOOK

I found this strange letter grid in a sketchbook Emma left behind. I put it together with something I glimpsed in this video on Emma's phone and found a clue.

Click to draw point-to-point lines on the notebook.

WHAT KIND OF PERSON LEAVES MESSAGES LIKE THIS?

"NOTE the CAPITALS"

THIRD
SIXTH
EIGHTH
ELEVENTH
THIRTEENTH
SIXTEENTH

Puzzle 2 hints:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
What's the only thing not Emma in the video?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The image from the video shows the starting and end points of the maze...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Which correspond to which letters you should start and end with in the letter grid.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The first letter on the grid is the bottom row, second "a".

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
There's a typo very early in the puzzle that makes it seem like you're doing things wrong. If you encounter an "r", but think an "l" would fit, you're right.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
By following the grid, you'll complete a phrase that starts with "a foor [sic; this should be fool, however] can ask more questions..."

Puzzle 2 solution one:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
aFoOrcanasKMoreQuestIonSinaNhoUrtHaNaWisEmancanaNswERinaYear
a FoOr can asK More QuestIonS in aN hoUr tHaN a WisE man can aNswER in a Year

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Now, follow the Post-It note to find the six-letter answer.

Puzzle 2 solution two:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
SINNER

Ok. Very Happy

The map puzzle uses the Semaphore decipher on decipherdemon.com.

You draw lines using the locations given on the right side of the map.

So the first is America, Jerusalem, Africa.

Draw a line from America to Jerusalem and then to Africa.

You get an outline that corresponds to one of the Semaphore pictures and a subsequent letter.

So the first one is an "A"

Draw the next lines for the locations and find those letters.

Argh, of course: that's what the "red flag" refers to as part of the puzzle intro.

Very Happy

I am enjoying this Show and the site so far.

Wish they wouldn't have killed Emma off so quick. She was cute.

Went to finish this up today - is the first letter actually A? I got something entirely different (HYGUHE, heh).

EDIT: Nevermind! I was looking at the slashes on the flag, not the shapes made by the arms.

I wish I could get them without using any of the hints and get the bonus points.

But I'm too easily stumped!

I agree - I like exploring Emma's journal, although I am sure we will see more. What I wonder is how much in show stuff will pop up in the game (did anyone else write down the code for the keypad for access to the outside in the compound where Joshua is being held?

I do wonder if we are missing things....

If anyone else is chatting about this at other places, please let me know so I can join the discussion

I didn't write down anything for the show. I might need to keep a better eye out for stuff this week.

I went to Israel this time last year and spent a weekend in Jerusalem. It was an amazing city. So much history. Great people. Great food.

I plan on going back this summer.

(btw Morbus, I didn't mean to jump the gun on you in giving clues to the third puzzle last week. Sorry. Smile )
