You need to look at your keyboard.

Do the colors of the gems matter, or is it just the order?

Colors don't matter. I took 2 screenshots, one is upside down. You can only see 1/2 of the page at a time in the video.

At the top of the puzzle in the frame it says ROT14. We have ROT13.

16 and 18

Puzzle 16 is about moving to the next key on the keyboard, it took me a bit to understand this one but one you start it will just POP out at you.

Puzzle 18

You have to watch the video closely and pause to see what is on the drawing, as stated above you need to do this when it is upside down and right side up, you cannot see the complete image either way. This is a little tricky, just replay the video until you get it.

The clue you need to solve is in the upper right corner of the puzzle.

Good Luck

OK, the unscramble was the Weave Decipher. Having trouble with "I had to look for the common links to learn how he characterized himself." ?

weave is the first step.

Next, find what is common (shared) in each set.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

codex cain
canon tomb
moses lamb
priest alpha
babylon prophet
curse idols
diety abel
judges flood

This leads to one word

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

COMPOSED

The symbols on the bottom the for note are male and female, you have find the branch that matches up. Start at the bottom and work your way to the top.
