 		Dang, good find.

The website may be wrapping up one of the loose ends of Marble Hornets: what happened to Tim?

Whoever is in control of the website may not be tracking Alex, he may be following Tim. If the letters do spell out "don't do it," then it may be referring to Tim committing suicide-- before whoever is in control can pump him for information. "Don't do it" sounds an awful lot like someone talking someone down from a ledge.

That said, I don't know if THAC would be willing to give a definitive answer to something deliberately ambiguous in a followup series. They seem to like their ambiguity.

Still, it was a thought that I didn't immediately dismiss.

 		You're not the only one who thinks it's Benedict Hall-that's what it looks like to me too. Maybe the person saying Don't Do It was there the night Alex shot Jay? This is all so wierd and I love it. I wish I had gotten an email that was different! I got there are footsteps.

I don't think that it's Benedict Hall, personally. I just can't see any resemblance between the two buildings. The picture looks, to me anyway, to have been taken in a city, or some other area, not at the college.

That is not Benedict Hall. I will bet you any amount of money I have on me (which is none) that this is an apartment complex that has been rehabbed from a disused 19th-century mill somewhere on the East Coast of the US or in the US South (as they film in Alabama, I'd say Birmingham). I say this as someone who once lived in an apartment rehabbed from one of the oldest extant mills in the US, let alone the Eastern US.

As for who that is--might not be important. The building may be what's important here.

 		It looks as if there's some weird distortion or that something's been added to the picture. Look in the parking lot to the right of the fence and on the side of the fence's upper railing. Looks as if some wetness or something has been added.

it's just the usual grain that THAC add to photos related to MH and 44 stuff. but there's also a green-ish filter that's been put it over too like a night vision mode, which go pros don't have. So it may like some security camera.

In relation to it being Benedict Hall, it's anyone's guess. To those saying looks like a city keep in mind how big the College Campus was. Rule nothing out.

EDIT: Upon further inspection there seems to have been some solarize effect added to the image just before the green hue. For those unfamiliar with solarize it's more or less a gradual effect between an image and it's negative, where the darkest points become brightest and exposed.

I'm unfamiliar with all of that shit, so I appreciate any informed perspective.

As for the building: granted, Benedict Hall was on a campus of moderate size, but I will bet (if you live near Boston and are of drinking age and can wait till I'm back on my feet--also, the bet doesn't count until hands are shaken, so, there) a bottle of Bully Boy straight whiskey that this is NOT Benedict Hall. First, the campus looks too large (a Catholic boarding school, I believe, was used for the small college). Second, the architecture is different. I have lived in one old rehabbed mill and worked in two more: I am positive that this is a residential building (which fits with the most recent email that lead to this photo). The entrance looks like that of an apartment complex. The person outside isn't necessarily necessary to the story--it could be a resident having a smoke. This seems as if it was taken for intimidation, whether it wants to threaten someone with danger or alert him or her to a present danger. Someone ain't safe.

EDIT: I should clarify and say "mill or factory." It looks like a once-industrial facility to me. That was my point, but I should clarify.
