 		Well I finally just stepped back and started reading things more literally. Ormsby is looking for a consultant. Callum tells us to look for deeper meaning in the first four lines of the poem. So I basically just emailed Ormsby with my interpretation of the meaning behind the poem, i.e. consulting on what it could mean.

My Email:

I believe the poem is referring to a rebirth or spiritual awakening often associated with the autumn equinox. Dreaming of death is often a symbol of rebirth, as all things must die to be reborn. The balance tipping towards the dark directly refers to the time of the equinox. As the days approach this time, day time becomes shorter, and by the time the equinox passes, the darkness overtakes the day. Directly following this is a harvest moon that also happens to be a blood moon, the forth eclipse in a tetrad of eclipses that started April of 2014. A little over a week after that the Draconid meteor shower is said to take place.

Some people think that these astrological events predict the end of the world... That the meteors "spit" from Draco will smash into the Earth (our little place of refuge). However, I think it's more likely that these symbols of "death" refer to the more traditional meaning of renewal or change.

And now, Richenda, you have my attention. Wasn't so hard was it, to think beyond the classic 'solve-the-puzzle' mentality I hear Callum refer to as the 'arg brain'. [Whatever an ARG is I don't know, nor would I want to by the sounds of it - sounds terribly time consuming and frankly a bit childish]

So. Now you have it, what are you going to do with it?
We are looking for consultants on this prophecy, as that is what it is. Written in 1588 by John Dee, we know he is referring to this years events due to other notations [that shall not be shared for now] on the parchments connected to it.

Ironically one of the first websites I stumbled upon when I originally solved the cryptex was one about the Blood Moon Prophecy, and I totally discounted the information in it because it sounded ridiculous. And now this sounds exactly like what this is leaning towards. Perhaps not the Blood Moon Prophecy specifically but this kind of prophecy idea.

Still curious if Lucy will factor into this, or if she's really gone forever. Kane once referred to Callum as having a "double dose of memory". Does that count as a mind that's twain?

John Dee, Rosicrucianism, Crowley, Thelema
Well, if the boss of 88 wants us to get mystical, I'm up for it. Wink The whole John Dee mention has sent me down a rabbit hole of Enochian Magick, Rosicrucianism, Golden Dawn, Thelema, and Aleister Crowley, which I will attempt to distill here.

John Dee, translating the scrying of Edward Kelley, was given - by what he thought were angelic beings - 48 of the 49 Keys that would unlock the door to the Apocalypse. Dee did not use the Keys, because he was waiting for angelic permission, which never came. Dee's work with Kelley and these beings gave him and Kelley what they believed to be the secrets of the apocryphal Book of Enoch. Today this is what is known as Enochian Magic.

Dee and Kelley's work had a major influence on Rosicrucianism, which Lucy said was "dusty" but did contain one useful manuscript, which is likely what Ormsby is referring to.

Fast forward to the 1880s, when the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn sorts through Dee and Kelley's work, and works it into an actual system of ceremonial Magick.

Fast forward again to 1904, when Aleister Crowley, who believes himself to be The Beast 666, starts using the Keys, forming his Law of Thelema in the process. He insists he's not the Antichrist, so it's not for him to learn and use Key 49.

My current theory:

If our little poem is a Dee prophecy, then it's likely about the Enochian Apocalypse, and the person who "treads the older paths" will need to be someone familiar with Ceremonial Magick, who represents opposites within her/himself. A paradox person. Now, whether this person is the one to use Key 49, or destroy any mention of it, depends on what sort of future 88 is contemplating.

 		So I felt like we were a bit stalled and decided to poke the bear a bit. You'll forgive me for borrowing a bit of your previous analysis in my message to Orms:

If our four lines refer to Dee's prophecy, then they likely point to a person "of twain mind" who can wield the 49th key to unleash the Apocalypse. The role to be played by 88 (to enable, or to prevent such an event) remains unclear.

I'm starting to get irritated with the "all of you are thinking so mundanely" tone taken by Lucy, Callum, Ormsby, etc. Maybe it's designed to goad us, but if I were a real prospective employee, I sure wouldn't want to work for such patronising people.

Is Enigma's new picture of Stonehenge (and an eclipse)? If so, Stonehenge can apparently be used to predict eclipses, as well as other astronomical events. Clues as to the rest of the poem meaning maybe?

Also not sure why the outside border is blurred or if there was writing along the top of the photo.

I noticed the same thing and tried all kinds of Photoshop shenanigans to un-blur the frame, but wasn't able to get anywhere. If anyone knows how to remove the blur with Photoshop, I would greatly appreciate a quick tutorial! Smile

 		William Blake
The image on E. Nigma's page is from one of William Blake's prophetic books, Jerusalem: The Emanation of the Giant Albion. I think it's called "Druids Trilithon": https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:William_Blake,_a_critical_essay_%28page_6%29.png The image is flipped (hence the "reflection" comment?)

Blake's poem on that page describes a creature with three heads with "three brains in contradictory council brooding incessantly". (Twain mind?) It also refers to imagination as "the divine humanity". The line that would be visible if unblurred at the top of the image would be:

"In the Oak Groves of Albion which overspread all the Earth."

EDIT: Albion is the archaic name of the island of Britain. Interestingly, there's an Oakgrove district in Milton Keynes, with a road called Eclipse Avenue... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oakgrove,_Milton_Keynes

I might read the two of swords differently, though. But I also don't want to lead us astray. But in my opinion, the two of swords is more about his confusion that hinders him from his own path.

Sorry for the long dialogue. I'd rather post the whole thing than miss something important. If anyone wants me to remove their first name or replace it with with screen name I can do that.

Tried to get Callum to talk about Lucy to see if she was the one whose "mind is twain". But after that discussion I'm starting to think it's Callum. Either that or Callum is a master manipulator.
