Star Wars ARG I just saw the cards online. I'm guessing the numbers aren't an IP address... that would be too Simple. It's disney, so they are probably using the same company that they used for Tron Legacy... This is super exciting. Here's the card numbers.
#11 BB-8 on the move
#53 Poe Dameron in his X-Wing
#67 Kylo Ren ignites his Lightsaber
#74 Rey on her Speeder
#76 Finn on the run
#81 Stormtroopers prepare for battle
#88 X-Wings in formation
#96 The Millennium Falcon

Interesting thought. The EW article teased several more cards with different color borders. I'm still hoping an ARG might be in the offing, but I am thinking that it won't start popping off till we start seeing the other cards.

I wonder if there is a clue hiding between the differences and/or similarities with the original card set(s)?
Our new #67 card should have a red border. Blue border series one ended at 66.
http://www.starwarscards.net/1977topps1.htm which makes the Kylo Ren card stick out like a sore thumb. Could be nothing however.
The red border was series two;

If they plan on more cards, perhaps they will stick to the theme and we'll see yellow, green and orange borders. I think Wabash is right and we won't find a proper breadcrumb trail until more cards show up. This might just be a heads up for people to get their blasters and light sabers ready for the big event.

Unrelated, but I think it's interesting how the droids were named in the original compared to now. When their names were written out (in comic books, novelisations and so forth), they were written phonetically. Artoo-Detoo, See-Threepio, etc. But we don't have Beebee-ate, we have BB-8. That said, however, I thing IG-88 was always IG-88.

Maybe it has something to do with the backs of the original '77 Topps series.

has a lot of pics with front and back.
I found that numbers 67, 74 & 88 are part of a Chewie "puzzle".
Also a really bizarre coincidence is I've found two cards on that site that have the initials 'JJ' .

Still nothing new on the cards then. I think its like it was said earlier, and that there are more likely to be released a bit later.
Been trying to work out what's written on Poe Dameron's chest plate without success.

90% sure this was just done as artistic flair, but I read the new Star Wars novel (Heir to the Jedi), and each of the chapter titles is wrapped in mathematical equations. You can see an example at the beginning of Chapter 1 in Amazon's preview.
Couldn't figure out what (if anything) to do with it especially since the affectation fits with the plot, but thought it was interesting enough to note.
