so on bluemind talk Kyle said when I asked if they were getting the emails:
The only general BLUEMIND email we have we use for something else. You don't have to worry about it. Back off, Ben. Jeez. Chill with the emails already.
Do you think this is just a rouse/playing around or we are going about it the wrong way?

Sorry if I get annoying posting on here.
Other errant things I've tried:
* something with the bills as mentioned before....It doesn't look like anything is weird with the image of the money, but I can't even view it close up or edit it in Photoshop because Photoshop does not allow you to edit images of money...
* tried to analayze the money image via a website to find out the average color value, but still confused about the "ASCII" and BINARY....

Ben, I think Kyle doesn't know about the video since it was Sarah that gave it to us.
Makes me wonder who's in charge of the company email... *heads to the talk message board*

Okay so there is some connected to another ARG - Very Good Drug. Not sure how that helps us now.

Is there new stuff about Very Good Drug somewhere?
My cursory internet search only revealed this:

but looks like it hasn't been updated in a year.

Apologies if I confused matters with that post about Trisphere on the Bluemind message board.
I don't think this is necessarily directly linked; I just wanted to acknowledge that there were similarities between the two (especially the humour) and let the PM know that I'm really pleased they're back in action. Very Good Drug/Trisphere was really fun and promising, so those of us who were playing along were pretty bummed out when it faded away. It's a lovely surprise to see this game pop up from the same PM.
Anyway, I should stop making problems and get properly caught up. Looking forward to joining in!

Nice to have you Billy!
He does keep mentioning Node meetings. It must have some significance.

Here is an email response I received from Sarah:
Jessica, I'm glad you're working so hard to figure this out. I found this video on a flash drive on Kyle's desk. I was just curious- and I found this. I don't want to say too much about this video at the risk of losing my job- or worse- but I want to tell you it's about the money. Good luck.

So what is it about the cash? http://www.mediafire.com/watch/h1y0h3q14jgutd8/insertion_1.mov
Or the revenue? http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=1053205#1053205
And she said to forget the numbers?
"I'm not sure that's a good idea, Balmoth. I don't think it's important to worry about numbers, life's too short. I guess maybe I'm just a right-brained person, but I've always preferred visuals and art to numbers and math.

I don't know, honestly. Since she said not to crunch the numbers, I think it might be about that image of the cash. I played around with it some in photoshop and there are definitely some weird things there if you play around with the colors, but nothing solid that I could make out.

I can honestly say I'm stumped.
There's so many ways you can twist it even without the numbers. On the pic is Franklin, Grant and Jackson. Should we finish the usual set of 6 (Washington, Lincoln, Hamilton)? Should we hunt for things in common that of the three ("high denomination bills," mentioned in that movie "The Mask", etc?)
Mind you, on the video it had that average, ascii, binary stuff. The thing that's going to drive me crazy is the fact that once we know how to solve it, it's going to look so easy, but until then....

More of a confirmation than a clarification:

Has anyone tried the average lifespan of US currency?

I've been looking through the other Trailhead and it seems that
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
They used colors to code some messages, so people were able to pull the hex values from the colors in an image and decode the hex to text.
Not sure if anything similar is like that here, but maybe someone who knows more might make something of it.

I just took a screenshot and opened it in Photoshop Elements. I think it's too.. edited to come through as real money.
