Wow. This is what happens when you venture into real life for a while and forget about your friends elsewhwere.

I only met Brian in Boston, but he seemed like a real down-to-earth person. That was also the first time meeting Dave. So I guess that I was in the right place at the right time being able to meet so many of the talents that have shaped this industry.

I don't need to say that Brian will be missed because you have already said all of that. I will say that Brian has influenced all of our work in at least some subtle way.

Thank you, Brian, for all that you have done for us.

...

So I was sitting around tonight going through the westworld reddit and, for the first time in a long, long time felt the old familiar pull of a story well told and a rabbit hole worth being explored.

I found this post pinned to the top of forums to be extremely poingnant - it could be because his birthday was yesterday, but really i think it's because in so very many ways, my time at unfiction was defined by Brian's work, and my relationship with Brian was facilitated through this place, and through the platform it created for the audience to interact with the creator in real-time as the performance took place.

It's been about a year and a half and I still literally think about Brian, his work, his ideas, or his advice on a daily basis.

Miss. This. Dude.
