This was one interesting and fairly unique series,

I didnt entirely focus on the first act but I did once everything changed.
this series set the ambience through its scenery and fairly silent vids, making you wonder if something scary is going to happen, tension like that is fairly rare these days so its really good to see it being used.
The distortion is incredible as well.

It did seem abit too marblehornets ish at the beginning but it started taking on its own disturbing and confusing form.
the downside is the pacing of the first act, vids came in really fast and it was difficult for me to catch up on it until it all reseted, the creators seemed to have fixed that with the second act which is good.

To the creators if they're reading: thank you for making an incredible experience, it was a fun ride and we hope to see more from you.

You know, I thought the whole 'it's a simulation' thing originally was a crazy idea that was on one hand smart, but also out of left field. However it does actually answer two questions that made almost no sense up til now.

First, how do you have a town that exists, has services, people, even cable tv, but "doesn't exist" and can't be escaped or located on a map. Simple, it's all a self contained program.

Second, what was up with the 'we can reboot the world' idea. Duh, it's a literal reboot. My guess is 'the cult' was actually the programmers talking to Ulysses. They're trying to fix the bug they've found in their AI system, but the bug does not want to be fixed, and it's trying to use Ulysses to get out of the system.

I may be giving the creators way too much (or not enough) credit for this idea, but really in Marble Hornets what did Slender Man really boil down to? It was a disease (or virus?) that Tim had that transmitted to other people. What if this Slender Man is a computer virus instead? It's not really a crazy stretch at all if you think of it that way.

Heck, it could even be the same entity. Maybe it's a virus of the mind, and an AI can catch it just like a human can. We taught the computer to think like us, and inadvertently we made it susceptible to our own demons.

Yeah, I just blew my own mind.

EDIT: According to the OOG facebook page for the series, that voice is indeed Hermes (it's apparently spelt Hermeas now).
