Derp, thought it was just general chatter, got rusty over the break. So... Isn't that describing Tim? That plus the smoking dude leads me to believe this is at least slightly related to marble hornets, rather then a completely separate occurrence.

I think whoever is running the channel is looking for Tim.

Also, did anyone notice the shadow moving in the corridor in the shot with the old man?

Wow, somehow I missed that shadow entirely... Now I'm spooked. I think that CS44 is related to the shadows, personally. I don't think they're trying to look for/document them, I think they /are/ them.

Unless Seth is still alive, The only other people I could think of that would actually care are Sarah (provided she didn't get got) and/or Tim's doctor.

The fact the report was uploaded does beg the question though... who would file it?

Word of God does state that the two series are connected.
