Zoomed out, I seem to see a close up of a face wearing black thick rimmed glasses, sort of like... frantically nodding? Or shaky cam. Not sure. Zoomed in, it looks like just a fuckin' mess.

Everyone's probably noticed this already, but since no one's said it in the thread yet: the gif seems to show up on any page other than the main marblehornets.com one. It doesn't seem to matter what you put after the slash. Maybe we should try to see if there's a page that comes up differently?

So I spent most of today figuring out what the error code could mean, and I believed I cracked the code. Basically, the lines of letters and numbers scrolling down all have the same letters and numbers, just at different locations. I put the sequence into a few code breaker programs, and one of them turned out to be a youtube link. It sheds a little light onto the whole 44, and it's connection to the first Marble Hornets series.

Not really sure how relevant this is, but there are 44 brackets both above and below the image. This whole 44 thing is starting to make me mad, while somehow being equally puzzling.

I feel thelike email to get to the therearefootsteps page was like, level 1.

Now we are on level 2. Is there another password that can be found here somehow, that gives us the next secret page?
