New D Scott email Someone on the THAC forums claims to have a gotten a response from D Scotts email.
Quote:
just got a new email from D Scott reading;
the requested image(s) cannot be found
error returned: missing pin number
NOTE: This is an autoresponce message
Did anyone here who emailed him get anything?
Any clues on what the PIN number is?

Something else that's interesting (which was also discovered on the THAC forums) is if you go to http://marblehornets.com/missing , you get a special 404 page.
This may just seem like a normal GoDaddy 404 page, but if you type in any other nonworking link (such as http://marblehornets.com/unfiction or http://marblehornets.com/forums ) you end up with the standard "error" static page. I feel that maybe the special 404 page at /missing was put there intentionally. It's also significant because the number 404 has 2 4's in it, which is related to the whole 44/4 theme going on.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this? It does say to contact the site owner letting them know if the page link is faulty, so should we try telling D. Scott or something?

I've read that people have tried combinations such as 4486, 3872, and 1102. Don't think they've gotten a positive result.

Nah, I think this is just reading too much into something. A quick reverse Google image search shows me that this page exists elsewhere. It may just be a placeholder for now until they add new content, though.

This got brought up a long time ago. If they wanted to do something with this they would have by now. Also if you try to bring up an invalid directory it gives you a broken error image....
http://marblehornets.com/missing/
Conclusion...THAC doesn't know how to run a website.

Or the "missing" page is just the generic 404 template their hosting package provides and they just forgot to remove it.

I was on my tumblr and someone posted their response from D. Scott and it had the word prosody at the end preceded by a colon like this
:prosody
and they defined it as "Prosody: ~the patterns of rhythm and sound used in poetry.
~the theory or study of prosody.
~the patterns of stress and intonation in a language."
Any ideas on where poetry is involved in Clear Lakes?

the brian test video is a poem, the description reads
1
2
3
4
I would say it's definitely relevant.

I received the same "Incorrect PIN" email. I'm thinking that by prosody, they mean the syllables in the original poem that led us to the page, i.e.
Listen down the hallway [6]
When you're all alone [5]
There are quiet footsteps coming [8]
Today they're in your home [6].
Emailing D. Scott with the PIN 6586.
Edit: Checked the THAC forums, they already had the same idea a couple hours ago. Whoops.
