Puzzles as part of arg but also standalone...

I'm a PM who know some people just prefer to engage in the puzzles aspect and not engage with story - thus, in my ARG, I'm running a sideline in puzzles BUT which don't require any engagement to the ARG. If people in the ARG solve, they get more reward in game, but there is prize/solution gratification for those not taking part. I've not mentioned it - yet - as not wanting to be a PM who does the whole trailhead here thing. BUT wanting others to enjoy the puzzles I make as well - thoughts and discussions please?
[moderators, If I've crossed a line, apologies, only wanting to entertain the puzzler brains here..]
