Guess I know when I am not wanted....

Please wait for Syzygy. I think you are missing the point of the little game here.

No doubt about that. I thought the point had something to do with privacy rights versus law enforcement need for information, the First and Fourth Amendments to the US Constitution, and that sort of stuff. But if there is only one side to this game, I don't understand how I am supposed to play.

Just wanted to let the last two posters know that I have no idea what you're arguing about.
In any case, I plan on playing both AWARE and Syzygy.

Good for you! The more the merrier.

I was trying to ask a question, not argue with anyone. For the third time, here it is: I don't want to work for Ideltech, Marcus has already agreed that I don't need to in order to keep "working with him" on other issues, but as a practical matter, HOW do I keep involved with the game without being an employee?

Answers anyone?

Sorry if I haven't been clear before. But, I have no interest in starting pointless arguments with people who have no idea who I am or what I know about the game. (Actually, not interested in arguing with anyone about anything here, just trying to understand how best to proceed.)

If I don't get the point of the game I guess we're in trouble as I am one of the main authors of the guide. And the summaries... and the slogan contest Smile

Hiya Rose. I myself have not applied at Idletech, and to be honest, I did not apply or participate anywhere in AWARE up till now. Going by Diandra's definition that would make me a rubbernecker I guess Very Happy

The downfall of this is that I may not have all the relevant information first hand, but the fact that my timezone is 7 hours ahead of EST already kinda creates that problem for me: by the time I wake up, all of you guys have gone to bed and the boards are full of new interaction posts and their follow-up. I then just enjoy reading what's going on here on the boards, and that is enough to be involved and able to participate, at least for me.

And then, if it's a question of taking sides, I'm guessing that when the game launches, there will be enough opportunity to take other sides then Idletech's. My advice is to hold tight and see what will happen Smile
