Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Apparently works at St Luke's Hospital in Chicago, IL, which was founded in 1864, but their name changed in 1969. Odd. It's in the National Record of Historic Places ca. 1982. Anyone know how to go forward from here?

Also of note about our protagonist:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
For those who haven't gotten around to reading the Sherlock Holmes tale yet, Cubitt was the last name of two main characters, a man and wife. Depending on the shape this alternate universe takes, we may be looking at a descendant-- or this may merely be a wink to the original tale.

Not sure if this counts as a spoiler, but there is a link to the Holmes story this one is based off of on the dancingm website.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
https://en.wikisource.org/wiki/The_Adventure_of_the_Dancing_Men The little semaphore-like guys we were translating yesterday are the Dancing Men, a cipher in the tale. It's a darn good read!

I agree, though; I am really looking forward to being a part of this as it unfolds! This so far seems like a pretty easy and fun ARG for me to start on.

ETA: We have another Twitter post!
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It links here: http://memegenerator.net/instance2/3136249 Maybe someone needs to do some destegging? I don't have any valuable programs on my computer for such a thing. Or maybe it's just a joke, but I tend to doubt that.

Sorry to double-post, but is anyone getting any new puzzles of late? The Tweets and what not don't seem to add up to anything that I can see.

Not sure about previous tweets yet, but Angie just posted some pics with the dancing men cipher.
Translated:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

We get gibberish. Obviously a code on top of the cipher.
1) IFMMP
2) XIFSF BSF ZPV
3) J XJMM GJOE ZPV
4) DPNF UP

Suspect it's a substitution cipher, and probably the same on for all pics based on the repeated "ZPV". Will give this a go, but if anybody else manages to figure it out, I'll be checking here. :p

edit:
First two look like "HELLO" and "WHERE ARE YOU". Based on that, the third is "I WILL _I__ YOU" and fourth "_O_E _O" so far. Not enough to determine what those missing letters are, but thinking "find' and"come to" make sense in context.

Nice sleuth work, but I think you're doing a little too much with your own brain! :p It's a ROT-25 cipher. 1) HELLO 2)WHERE ARE YOU 3)I WILL FIND YOU 4) COME TO If only we knew where to go...

Hahaha oh man, got me there. I really have to get better at looking before leaping...

Suspect that the answer to that question may be revealed when Angie wakes up!
