 		For those too lazy to actually decode it, here you go:

cat - here are the emails between si and the quincy's - they are the ones who are after si. the quincys run icq books which is a front for a rare book black market (yes, those exist). caine keeps his mother isadora in the dark about them being black market books (illegally bought, sold, imported, etc) and she thinks they are regular old books. recently, caine was out of town and si went in to buy a book on the legend of shangri-la, but the old woman was taking care of the store. si may have taken advantage of her a bit and convinced her to sell the zena manuscript for cheap. now caine is pissed. i'm not sure what he said to si at that meeting but it was enough to send him in to hiding. i've tried to get abigail to leave town and go somewhere safe, but she's stubborn. i received an encrypted message from si and he said that he is still trying to crack the zena manuscript and he says he will return it to the quincys when he's done he's really insistent on cracking this thing, no matter the cost. i'll let you or your friends know if he gives me anything else to share or if i find a way to help him. be careful, if si is willing to sacrifice all of this for the zena manuscript, it must be really valuable. fyi - i'm not too good at decoding ciphers (making them is definitely easier) but from what i gather that one email from caine says something threatening about si's daughter abigail. what a psycho[spoiler]

Frequency is perfect for normal English, therefore a transformation is all you need. Could be skip or column transposition, but I gave Railfence a first try.
Use http://rumkin.com/tools/cipher/railfence.php and just change the 'encrypt' to 'decrypt' leaving the default of 3 rails and 0 offset. (Where's the challenge in that?)

SI says he met up with Caine and they got into an altercation. Caine pulled a knife so SI took off and went back to his apartment. Caine followed SI back to his place and SI barely escaped with the manuscript before he forced his way in. SI says he has enough money and is fine, but he can't leave the country because Caine burned his passport. He's still working on the manuscript and only updates me occasionally. Abigail is fine, I was able to convince her to take a vacation to visit some relatives in the UK. I think I found something about the Zena Manuscript…if what I found is true, I can almost understand why SI is risking it all to crack the code. Let's just say, I think the rumours might be true. I'll keep you posted.

 		I solved the 'Cipher Fun' blog post though I had to remove "Immense Penis" first. Not sure where that came from.

You can't answer me, but I hope you are reading this.
I'm getting closer to cracking the Zena Manuscript.
X has been a bit sketchy lately. He won't tell me whether or not you have found my messages. He just keeps asking about my progress on the manuscript.
I'm concerned that he may be working against us.
The Zena Manuscript is filled with code, that when properly decoded, is said to lead to an ancient treasure.
My father started to decode the Zena Manuscript when I was young, and I've always wanted to continue his work. When I saw the manuscript at ICQ books, I couldn't resist buying it for so cheap.
This manuscript means a lot to me. I'm not in it for the fame or fortune, I just want to solve its riddle and make my late father proud.
As for X, I think he's realized the value of the manuscript and may be trying to find me and get his hands on it.
I hope I'm wrong, but I'll be watching him. I don't want to accuse him of anything yet because he still may be of help.
No one knows my location, so I am safe. I think you and Abigail are the only ones I can trust. I'm so sorry I brought you in to this.
I'm going to send you an encoded message in the mail. It will provide you with a link to a new website where I can share parts of the manuscript with you. Hopefully you and your trusted friends will be able to help me end this ordeal faster.

 		To solve the letter/number combo in the picture of the latest blog post:

just plot the letters on a grid. I did it in a spreadsheet; converting the column labels to numbers instead of letters made it much easier.
