i didn't take part but this was part of the Adelaide Festival of the Arts earlier this year (in Australia) and was apparently very much enjoyed.

i read a review written by an 'on-the-ground' participant. from what i gathered the street players were pretty much in the control of the online players (who told them where to go) and the online players were competing to have their instructions be the ones that were followed, so it was very important for the virtual players to build a rapport with the street players early on.

review is here: http://www.realtimearts.net/ click on contents and then scroll down to digital. project was called 'i like frank' in australia.

I took part as an online player yesterday (the last day in manchester?). Luckily I made a connection with one of the street players & guided her to get my postcard & then find the elusive "Office"!!

It's quite funny (& very frustrating) when you see the street player you've selected wander off in the opposite direction...until you realise that each street player is getting messages from about 15 different online players!

I'd love to play as a street player next time though...here's hoping that they come my way soon.
