 		I'd forgotten that Corenthal also adopted a Linnie. Hell, most of my recent posts are just me saying I can't remember things. Well, as long as I'm feeling nostalgic, might be time to re read/watch everything.

Yeah, Jeff was dead by then. Also, Corenthal's 5th child was named Linnie. She's not part of the Slenderman club though. She's attached to The Rake, which is explored more in-depth in Whispered Faith.

Both, though not much. Rake is the series' primary supernatural force, so it's explained about as well as you'd expect. Linnie just kinda shows up once or twice. Interesting scenes, and they offer valuable insight into her character, but we learn fuck-all about what she's been doing.

Oh, hey, more puzzle pieces for a Primary Slenderverse Master Timeline I've been thinking of.

 		I dunno, as far as I can tell from the "Linnie" pages on both the EverymanHYBRID & Whispered Faith Wikis, there don't seem to be any indications that they're the same character. Which is weird if they're supposed to be, because there have been more explicit connections. Like there's a character in Tribe Twelve--their Wiki tells me it's Milo Asher--who is confirmed to have crossed paths with Corenthal. It seems more likely to me that they're 2 different characters inspired by the same source material.

Oh, also, do you know that the link in your signature is broken?

 		So, this late in the game...

Were the crossovers a mistake? I honestly think they were just an ok idea in paper, but in reality i think EMH undermined every other series that wasn't TT

No, actually. Thanks for pointing the link out. All fixed now.

As for the Milo Asher thing, it's more than just two similar characters. Bearing in mind the crossover episodes, where Noah goes to meet the EMH crew, and of course the TT episode where Noah gets taken to meet HABIT about the Severance rune, it seems pretty clear that they share a universe.

Linnie is a different case, though. The only crossover between WhisperedFaith and other series was Noah randomly asking Lee for directions, and even THAT is questionable, in the lighting at hand. If WhisperedFaith shares its universe with the rest of the big Slenderverse series, it seems to share very little of it. It is VERY likely that the Linnie from WhisperedFaith and Linnie from EMH are entirely different interpretations of the same character.

I think the crossovers were fine. I mean, the only series that got a "major" crossover, besides TT, was MLAndersen0, and we all know how that turned out.

I am really against crossovers--especially because what's the point of a shared universe if the continuities are at best not going to intersect very often & at worst going to contradict a lot--but I disagree with the stated reason. Though I do sometimes wonder if I'd feel differently if I actually followed both series when said crossovers occurred.

I don't. Aside from Marble Hornets & this, I only ever followed a few other series. I think it was last autumn that I got into DarkHarvest00.

Yeah, this sounds like about what I was trying to say.

To be honest, I have no idea how to think about continuity in the Slenderverse half of the time. The TT-EMH connections seem to go well beyond simple cameos & into shared universe territory, & yet I still have trouble believing that, because they're just so different.

Good to know, I suppose. People tend to be confused by things I create, so this is nothing unusual. Those notes come from examination of various little "creepy shit" channels, mostly, that I've been linked to across the 'net.

The simplest way to think of it is that while HABIT is doing his thing, The Collective are doing their thing, and DarkHarvest's The Order are doing THEIR thing, and Slendy just kind of shows up somewhere once in a while.

 		I just don't think it makes sense for them to not be more interconnected if they're really going for a shared universe, but it's not like it's going to change now, & to be fair that would only make a series I've obviously forgotten most of the details of even harder to follow.

 		Has the EMH crew said what is taking them so long to get new videos out? Or are they just that commited to the ARG and trapping Vinny in a room for years was part of their master plan?
