I have a question for everyone involved in this thread who is questioning whether or not EMH should bother updating (the answer is "as long as the guys have story to tell, they should do what they want with it", as it always has been, by the way):

What do you do with your lives?

Let me be more specific. The creators of EverymanHYBRID are humans (surprise, surprise), and as such, they have other things to do with their time. Marble Hornets, as far as I am aware, is the only ARG series focusing on the Slender Man made by people for who filmmaking was their primary jobs at the time. The guys behind EMH have lives, and jobs, and schedules to keep.

I assume that most of the people who are complaining about the series not updating either don't realize it through a lack of perspective, or for whatever reason believe that EMH should be their first priority. That's nonsense. I used to run a small series, back in 2011, and I tried to restart it a few years ago. In both cases, real life just got in the way. Work, life upheavals, things like that.

Assume, for a moment, that you're an average Slendervlog creator from the first or second wave. That would mean, in general, that you're in your late twenties. That means, in general, that you require money to survive because you don't live with your parents anymore. That means a job, probably full-time. So forty of your waking hours every week, plus travel time, gone. Then you have to account for sleep, because it's necessary, so that's another forty to sixty hours a week gone. Then you have to account for varying schedules, which is incredibly difficult if not everyone in your group has a steady schedule. All things put together, it's not 2011 anymore. Life has more burdens and less temporal rewards. So sometimes things fall by the wayside. And it's our job as fans to understand that and deal with it like adults.

This is an incredibly long post to say what I came to say, so I'll just say it blunt: shut up about the lack of updates. They'll come when they come. Bitching about it won't help, and I'm at the point where I won't tolerate it anymore. If you have a problem with the lack of update schedule of a series, keep it to yourself. Nobody does this for a living anymore, if they ever did. So I'm going to start locking threads and removing posts if this shit doesn't stop.

Only one of those Rabbits ever responded to these threads after that, though... so if this is a return to the ARG element, who knows how it'll pan out.

The youtube of Rabbit #82 is dead, and everyone on the Tumblr tags for EMH kinda exhausted any trails regarding the usernames back then. Though, if you look back to Rabbit #82's trial 4 entry you can see Adam of TribeTwelve (Noah Maxwell) walking in at about 0:45.

Now, I don't like to Facebook lurk, in fact I find it kinda creepy, but I decided to see if Adam's facebook had any friends by the name Joan (the Rabbit's youtube name is QuizzicalJoan, afterall). Going into it I thought that nothing would come up, since not everybody attending the same school is necessarily friends, but I think I found a lead.

I found three different people by the name of Joan (or who came up with a longer name), and messaged two of them. One of them had no location, but had both Evan and Jeff as friends, and the other had the same school listed as Adam. The third Joan seemed much less likely (location, lack of other mutuals) and was disregarded. I'll let you guys know if either of them message me back, but otherwise the trail for Rabbit #82 is kinda lost.

Again it feels weird to creep on Facebook like this (especially since it feels so out-of-game), but if it helps the guys reach the end of the series, then so be it. Also I feel so long as I keep the two Joan's full names private it's not... as creepy.

Edit: I feel so stupid, at the end of her Trial 6 video there is a still with her face. I believe I found Rabbit #82. We'll see if she messages me tomorrow.
