Christ, I really need to keep up with this series.

If it is William who became Linnie's parental guardian, what significance will he hold to the plot at this point? Sorry, I really haven't been able to keep up with any of this.

I see this on the EMH wiki page for the disk: "The label DRKWND resembles the word Darkwind. This happens to be the name of a game that is free to play on Steam."

There could be something there, in terms of reference, allusion, or symbolism to something. EMH has done that with video games before, like Bioshock and Alan Wake.

'Scuse the double post; I messaged the reddit guy and he told me the password. I was on track--he worked out that it's home213 (which suggests to me that 'ark' and 'vin' may be passwords needed down the track).

Inside was a bunch of files, which, when renamed to text files, seem to be news articles (though ridden with odd symbols to appear corrupted?). They follow a Clairvoyant, Elizabeth, who solves a bunch of murders in the Lambertville area (this may hark back to Cops checked, No body. Impressive). Then her house burns down and Corenthal is the main suspect, though his lawyer, William Davidson (whose website was on the floppy disk) can't seem to find him. I've updated the wiki so the text etc is on there, and you can download and unlock the zip via there too.[/u]

I don't know if you're including it with the website, but Hannartt mentioned up there that somebody found files that turned out to be news reports about Dr. Corenthal & a forensic psychic.

I can't decide whether I should put that term in scare quotes because that's what I would usually do, or if I should leave it plain since there's no reason to believe psychics can't exist in the Slenderverse. Though, when I was reading those articles, I kept expecting the twist to come that she was "solving" these cases because she was involved in their perpetration. A feeling which intensified when I read that bit about Corenthal being suspected of burning down her business, though I suppose it could be that he was seeking her help, & it was some kind of misunderstanding.

...I honestly don't remember, is Vince still trapped in that room?

My theory is the 'Psychic' was being Slendystalked, and that all the 'accidents' she prevented or victims she found were attacked by the rake or slender man (that car accident mentioned was 'animal-related').

Just to let y'all know, some newer fans have made a discord server for EMH, to discuss theories and whatnot. Link is on the front page of the wiki. One of the members has sent a letter with some questions to the mailbox on the William J Davidson website, which OOG sources suggest should progress the game. Also, someone pointed out Jeff's sister was called Ellie and the psychic is Elizabeth, though that could just be a coincidence.

Yeah, Vince is still trapped in an apartment, I think.

Thanks for the heads up. I pretty much go straight to the timeline & don't look at anything besides the links to the updates I haven't seen yet, so I doubt I'd have noticed if you didn't mention it. Never used Discord before, but I'll have to check it out later.
