Wooohoooooo!

i'm a little frustrated that I can't connect the page to the main site, but the code looks sound. maybe there's a weird link structure built into the domain so this page isn't indexed and can only be found with the URL. it's smart SEO to work that way, building possible URLs yourself until one works.

I'm fucking amped for this. Let's do it, y'all.

I wish I could claim some massive feat of ARG sleuthing, but right after seeing the post about Dan Trachtenberg's tweet, I went to the Reddit site, and saw the link there. The poster there attributes the find to Dennis at cloverfieldclues.com.

At any rate, there's plenty of fresh meat on the tundra for us wolves. Finally!

Bold Futura is part of the old ARG! There was a website for it, but it's down: http://1-18-08.blogspot.com/2007/10/bold-futura-tagruato-subsidiary-website.html

So..... If the employee of the month at Tag proper gets their name on the emails.... We should be trying to figure out how to contact Bold Futura.

On a meta note, i do feel like this has been an after thought, and I'm grateful for it, but... the link on the subsidiary BF page that is supposed to go to a website just links to itself. Couldn't they have put up the new/old website first?

If I remember correctly, Bold Futura, Paraffun, and Yoshida Medical never lead to an actual site, since Slusho! was the only one of real importance back in '08...Although at this point, yeah a BF site would have made sense, so who knows.

Are you on a mobile device or a PC? Because { Wink } that can make a difference on these sites sometimes.

All of these are currently obtainable on the Tag site. Nothing needs to be verified, it's right there in the web address.

It looks to me like the original website for BF was a fake, a game jack or something? But they are obviously being written in to the new game is nothing else.

But looks like something happened to this guy:

Quote:
As Senior Lab Technician for YMR's Special Projects Group, Bruno leads a team of advanced researchers responsible for ground-breaking work with J-class biological materials. This month, Bruno's quick thinking, knowledge of safety protocols and self-sacrafice prevented a small, technical complication from contaminating a set of rare samples. His guidance and reasurring demeanor will surely be missed by his colleageues. Get well soon, Bruno!

I feel like they have to be working on this. It says to email them at the link below. It's just not active yet. Although, can anyone confirm that this page existed back in 08? Because Bold Futura was definitely mentioned way back when.

Holy crap! It's *actually happening* woooooo!

Also, Howard is wearing a T-shirt with a logo on it. We should probably look into that. It says something about a radio, and his job says something about transmissions? Ties into the Eiffel tower radio transmission thing - and uhhh, guys? Was the ham radio jack maybe not a jack after all? I was kinda quietly on the fence about it.

(Also, is Bold Futura a inside graphic designer/Wes Anderson joke? I sure hope so.)

Edit: at very least I think I was right about him being a vet! We should be on the lookout for NATO alphabet clues. I know they sometimes sneak past me.

But this was posted on a website back in 2007, which shows Bold Futura definitely had a website: http://1-18-08.blogspot.com/2007/10/bold-futura-tagruato-subsidiary-website.html
