Tumblr seems like an odd place to have an online presence for an engineering subsidiary, but who knows. Is there any way to check who a tumblr is following or check the user name and/or email address? or is the tumblr blog name just the user name?

Respective tumblr, I suppose it's OOG: no BoldFutura signs, no Tagruato credits. If they wanted to be present, they would use as much officiality as possible.

Wah, you remember me from that? Heya! I mostly lurked the rest of the time.

Yeah, I figured that Tumblr was a long shot, but I was there looking for anything tied to Megan, and figured that it was worth a note at least.

Afaik, Tumblr doesn't let you look up followers of other people, or even how many followers they have, but I'm not an expert at all!

Edit: Does anyone else find it odd that the ParaFun logo is spelled differently than when it's written on the Tagruato page? (http://tagruato.jp/images/parafun-logo.png)

Edit 2: I was backwards with the Paraffun. Elsewhere on the Tagruato website, it's spelled correctly. (http://tagruato.jp/paraffun_subsidiaries.php). It's only on the Employee of the Month pages, including the image-over text at the bottom that it's misspelled. Do you think that this could this mean anything, or think that it's an oversight/bad speller on staff?

 		Back to Radio from a while back
I've been kind of looking at the whole radioman70 thing, and into Howard's time in the navy. I'm finding some ties back to when we had the HAM radio situation with cold elf revl. Most thought it to be an anagram for cloverfield, but what I'm finding is that ELF actually stands for extremely low frequency and it seems revl might be a type of transmission.
The most interesting part of this is that in searching elf and navy there are a lot of conspiracy theories that there are ELF weapons of mass destruction being created and tested. I'm not great at the whole seeking out code, and tumbler, and such, but could ELF conspiracies be somewhere we should be digging?

Lurker here, and long-ago Rocket Poppeteer Smile. Out of wild curiosity, I Googled Fun and Pretty Things and found the David Bowie song "Oh You Pretty Things. I normally wouldn't think anything of it...it's just a random song, but....the lyrics are almost fitting:

Had same thoughts, but if the father gave a secret birthday gift to his daughter, she should keep it in secret in her home. Since according the letter she gas never been in the shelter shown in trailer.

Except "filled with her favorite things" doesn't imply "filled with your stuff" it could very easily be stuff she just loves. He could indeed have put a carbon copy of something he gave her for her 13th birthday. Especially if the parents are (not only divorced but) in different states and Dad isn't allowed (for instance, by restraining order) to go near them.

Yeah, I find it too much of a coincidence that Howard is some sort of "Radioman," and the Ham radio site happened way before we got that confirmed, or even noticed there was a radio in the bunker. I agree that the way that person found it was a total stretch and very unlikely, but was hesitant to dismiss it outright at the time and now that we DO have an arg and it DOES involve radio stuff it's a curiosity. Maybe it was an informed Jacker? Maybe they knew something we didn't? Or just made a good guess (it's happened before in ARGs). The quote from JJ aspect seems especially OOG - but this whole project has been very meta, almost Post-Modern.

Granted I just now had time to get a better look at the rest of the Petunia Plasticine you tube videos, and I don't think they're involved at all - despite a collusion of coincidences leading there. Petunia Plasticine is absolutely a name BR uses to buy ARG promotional sites in secret, and there are very few hits for it on Google, the twitter being link #1. Reminds me of that guy who uploaded the bootleg Trailer and is totally unrelated but odd in context.

And of course that godamn Memory Lane puzzle pages back.

Coincedances all over. A big problem is one of our main clues/tropes - the Eiffel tower is so godamn common. It's easy to find everywhere! 4813 is too short a number to be identifiable as having a particular usage. Depending on how you split it up it could be variously a: date, lock combination, time code, PIN number, bible verse, electronica album...

Also tricky: some sites we're looking at are brand new, some are from '08 and things in between can't necessarily be totally discounted. And we can't count on proffesional polish bening a sign of IG - sloppy, slapped together and semi broken sites with spelling mistakes are what we've got so far.

I think at this point we just need more information. Either something in the Trailer that Megan "loves" that we're missing, or I'm thinking some kind of social media profile for her has to be out there (or will be out there) somewhere.

I feel like we're waiting for... something. Either it's something that needs time to click together in our minds, or deus ex machina.

I mean, I can't actually tell which of those the Employee Of the Month nudge came from.

It's kind of pain to wade through nearly a hundred pages of 'is this an ARG? It's not an ARG' to get to anything useful. Reddit is a quagmire of cracktheories- but it is at least organized. Which is probably one reason they are getting to info faster this go round. Would mods consider opening a few more threads to make this easier to navigate? Like one of the missing pieces, or one on source code, or one on password attempts, etc?

Sorry if this is just adding to junkpost-trouts. But it's hard to ask people to not trout when the thread covers literally everything on this now confirmed ARG (via Dan Trachtenburg twitter).

 		this is why i was hoping this whole topic would be moved out of news and rumors into its own thing...or even under the old ARG section so we could lock repeat topics and keep things seperate between Swamp pop, tagruato, fapped (FAPT) and any other various crap whether it was in game or not. Newcomers are gonna be so lost now that there's a hundred pages of mostly nothing

Since 10CfLn is confirmed as an official ARG we know, how tricky are BR ARGs, how many layers and pages it involves.

So I would also plead in opening new board with multiple threads, since this uF trail will be soon very confusing, especially for new interested players.

Look to Cloverfield board. Or Super8. So many trails.
