For example for things like the Cold Elf Rev it could have it's own quarantined thread and on the off chance it turns out to have been in game this whole time (however unlikely), we'll be able to have it documented there, but if it isn't it doesn't muss up the main thread.

It might also be nice to start from scratch with a fresh new thread that has a updated summary of confirmed events and leads as the first post so people don't have to slog through all the speculation.

Also Swamp Pop could kinda use it's own thread since it seems to only be tangentially inviolved right now, but people keep ordering it.

Reddit has tried to start a wiki, so using that could help organizing info as well.

Maybe its also helpful to add some Unfiction sub-threads for each clue-line, or do we keep things just on this thread?

Especially newcomers or people who didnt followed for a week, like me.. might get crushed with informations about the tagruato employee harold, the password website, etc. and i think its time to start managing some things.

The ungoogleable videos are definitely unrelated. There is a video of a dying cat on there. An actual sick, close to death cat. And people having sad conversations about the cat. The description is a eulogy.

It's just too real to be related.

Firstly Reddit is wrong, I'm not sure who said Targruato.jp was registered by Petunia Plasticine but that's just not true at all. No in game sites have yet been associated with her.

Howard is John Goodman's character who works for a Tagruato subsidiary called Bad Futura that was mentioned in the old Cloverfield ARG. This was our first real confirmed clue found through the tagruato.jp Employee of the month page.

Petunia Plasticine is an alias Bad Robot (BR) has used in the past to register sites with. Including an as of yet unused & parked BadFutura.com. So far they haven't used any sites that have been registered by her in this particular game. And may not ever. We don't know at this point.

Googling her name results in very few hits, the first being a twitter profile from 2013 that has a sole tweet that leads to that strange YouTube video, - but I'm pretty sure it's a total random coincidence. Seems like a real guys weird web diary. Don't waste too much time going through those videos. I certainly wish i could get my 10 minutes back.

This information is all repeated in the last few pages of this thread which if you'd been reading along with the rest of us I wouldn't have had to summarize. But I realise it's getting a bit confusing, and I may have added to that confusion by not being clearer about the Petunia stuff so I apologize and hope this clears things up.

okay so this morning I became rather obsessed with tracking down the actual beads used in the funandprettythings picture.

I couldn't find the exact ones, but I came close with Just My Style ABC Beads.

Plus, I also found a cheap knockoff set that had the same 'flipped K' misprint on the K bead, leading me to think that this isn't a clue or anything.

Some of the other crafty things seem to be from Rainbow Loom, or Wonder Loom. (e.g., the strawberry: http://www.instructables.com/id/strawberry-loom-band-charm/)

I tried various things as passwords (loom, wonder loom, beads etc etc). but no luck.

EDIT: also, taking a look at the Teen magazine picture, I noticed that the "fashion" picture in the upper left is the same as the back of the magazine from the movie trailer. (with the "V" over the eyes). Couldn't find the stock photo though.

Howard/John Goodman tries to save his daughter, but either a) she isn't able to get to the Chicago bunker and dies when the Bad Thing comes or b) he doesn't know what happens to her when the Bad Thing comes.

hence the rage and the table pounding and the teenage magazines.
