Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's it. Guy built a huge underground bunker. He's not exactly the picture of stable.

They do not have Carl's Jr in Paris. Trust. The eiffel tower stuff is just a weird random spliced in video. Ugh. Somebody else needs to debunk whatever those are for me because they give me the willies for some reason.

Edit: he mentions Project Glass, which makes me think he's wearing google glass, and that's how he made these videos. How does a guy working at an Amazon depot in 2013 get his hands on Google glass? What is going on?


He's located in Santa Clara, California. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmGB6xVX7OA this video you can see street signs at 2:20-2:25 that say Central Expressway West and Lawson Lane, a quick google search shows that intersection in Santa Clara, CA. I don't think the videos are IG.

Thanks, yeah I couldn't stand looking at them anymore. I think the thing I'm feeling is: Google Glass is creepy. That's why it gives me the willies.

I really feel it's not IG too, I just like to double check things (and the Portal song thing caught me really off guard, as I didn't notice it the first time).

So I was trying to draw comparisons to the old ARG and i remembered the original 1-18-08 site had those pictures that kept popping up every week or so. My hope and wish is that come monday another one of the pictures on FAPT will be clickable and lead to another message/hint as to what her gift was. *fingerscrossed* im also definitely holding out for a new superbowl ad

I was just sitting here thinking that maybe we shouldn't (only) be looking online. We are dealing with Howard trying to contact Megan, who (might be) living in/near Chicago, right?

Is there anyone in the Chicago area with a radio that can see if there are any strange stations, maybe repeating a short or strange message? I don't think that there is any way to do this online, but it would be worth a shot.

 		Hmmm I'm not optimistic about there being radio involved yet, but if there *were* I bet it would be at something like fm 4813. The issue is pirate stations tend to have really specific ranges & we don't know where to look yet - other than maybe Chicago. Is there other clues in the letter that might tell us where to look?

I still feel like there's gotta be social media for Megan somewhere. I had this hunch we were looking for an Instagram - even looked for a funandprettythings ID - and it exists! But it's just an unrelated mommy blogger. :/

SIDE NOTE: I'm re-watching Cloverfield right now, and holy hell I forgot how shaky this movie is! 8 years ago, on January 18th 2008, and I watched this movie at Midnight, second row, in IMAX. I have no idea how I didn't get sick hahaha.

Also, I agree that Reddit has been pretty disorganized, but there have been some good ideas thrown around in there, and honestly, I've never used Reddit before 10CL, nor have I used Unfiction (as I did everything forum-based through IMDb last time around for Cloverfield). I will say that I like the organization of Unfiction much more, as it seems like it's not just full of random theories (which aren't always bad), but it seems a bit more put together.

 		Just heard a friend of a friend who works as a graphic designer at an ad agency in New York worked on some kind of super secret thing that's airing at the super bowl.

Could be anything really, not necessarily Cloverfield but... Hmmm...

EDIT WOAH WOAH WOAH GUYS I DID NOT EXPECT TO BE RIGHT ABOUT THAT.

I knew we were waiting for *something!*

If you weren't watching, new Trailer dropped just now during opening of Super Bowl and it's wooah...

Anybody know if it's uploaded yet?
