 		 Cloverfield Sites
Has anyone seen anything on any of the Cloverfield themed sites Question I have been checking the Tagruato and FAPT... even TIDO Wave (long-shot I know).

Still hunting for something that eludes to what Megan's secret gift was. I even entered poison since "gift" is German for "poison" -- no dice.

 		The monster sounds A LOT like the monster from Super 8. And with this being a "blood relative" of Cloverfield, this could be the film that connects the movies.

 		???
Up until this new trailer came out the Tagurato Employee of the Month web site listed the employees verticaly with JG picture being much larger than all the others. Now it shows them in 2 horizontal rows with 3 on top 2 on the bottom. and the Targurato symbol is gone now. is this just a browser problem that has resolved itself?

Except for recalling what J.J. himself said, back in 2011...

"Once the "Super 8″ alien could be fully glimpsed as it wreaked havoc in a small Ohio town, some observers noted a similarity between the creature and the alien in 2008's "Cloverfield," which Abrams produced. As he explained it to us, there is a link between the two creatures, but not one that has any storytelling impact.

"The only connection between the creature in 'Super 8′ and the creature in 'Cloverfield' is that they were both designed by the same guy, Neville Page," Abrams said. "They actually look very different, but they both have two eyes, a nose and a mouth. So, in that regard, it also looks a lot like Laurence Olivier!"

That answer puts to rest any suggestion that "Super 8″ and "Cloverfield" exist in the same universe or that the "Super 8″ alien's actions in the 1970s somehow impacted the other alien's later actions in "Cloverfield." When we asked Abrams if there is a same-universe connection between the two flicks, he said, "No."

It's been as you described for me the whole time. The Tagruato symbol went away when things were updated.

 		The lights seem very Close Encounters. I'm not sure what kind of creature could produce them. I just want to have a clear Cloverfield connection! My nostalgia factor is going biserk!!! That being said, I have a bad feeling it may just be an anthology run.. An almost Twilight Zone like movie collection.

I miss Mr. Grumpypants. I just want Grumpypants.

The 3/2 set up is how mine has been the whole time, but the website occasionally misloads or glitches when opened on my phone. That makes sense given the bones of that website were designed well before the mobile browsers we all use now.

I have noticed many weird loading glitches, including the PNG one I posted earlier. Right now it makes sense to me that the image might be a lead, but I don't think no reproducible glitches would be involved.

 		The second passphrase has to be in this trailer SOMEWHERE. Did anybody notice any items in the new footage, inside the bunker, that could be considered a 13th birthday present from Stambler to megan (this is running off the theory that whatever it is now rests within the bunker itself, seeing as though he's filled it with "her favourite things"? I'll suss it when I get home, but at the moment I've only seen the trailer on my phone.

 		Just for fun, i tried Argus Cube, An Argus Cube, Argus Cubes as 2nd passphrase. No luck Razz

Same goes for "A jar of Jelly Beans" and Jelly Beans" - Tried to find something new, all i found yet.

 		Ok, maybe this picture shows something or nothing.

#1 Eiffeltower again, looks a bit more like the Swamp Poster but i'm watching Superbowl, can't check.

#2 Globe, visible location.. Tagruato station? At least it shows a lot of oceans.



Edit: Added picture from another angle - is the globe still standing in same place? I just bet that these little earthquakes comes more often through the movie.



What is the golden thing right next to it? Statuette?

Edit 2: I just read the letter again. There are some things mocking me but i am not a native english speaker. Maybe you can help me out:

I'M SORRY ABOUT HAVING TO DECEIVE YOU WITH THIS SITE, BUT I NEEDED TO FIND A WAY AROUND YOUR MOTHER'S INTERFERENCE, AND WERE RUNNING OUT OF TIME. NOW WE CAN TALK IN CONFIDENCE WITHOUT HER FINDING OUT. IT'LL BE OUR LITTLE SECRET.

#1 Deceive?

#2 Mother's interference? It's almost the same word in german and for me it more sounds like this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interference_(wave_propagation)

And i don't really thing that we're talking about "Mother" in terms of her physical mother.. more "Mother" in terms of maybe military watching?

I think you may be reading into it a bit much, I believe the deception was the splash page {fun and pretty things}. I believe he really is talking to his daughter about her mother, i don't believe any other mentions of the mother in the letter can be interpreted any other way {for example, why would the military complain about shelter or why would he decorate it for her?}

#1: Deceive means to hide/lie/misdirect. I think that he means that he's sorry that he disguised the site at something else, and she had to click on the computer photo/etc, to get to read his letter.

#2: It's very natural English here. I really think that he's talking about her birth mother (or mother that raised her, anyway), and her mother and him have different opinions, so her mother gets in the middle a lot. Probably by saying bad things about her dad and trying to get in between them.

#3: You may be right!! I still don't know what it is, though.

I just read through the letter and you're probably right. Wanted to add that i probably mistaken "mother" with military and Howard, more the company/corp Megan is working for? The wording "interference" keeps me thinking it. I try to find the answer to the 2nd passphrase inside this letter.

Thank you Pixiestix and hinoai for explanation. Sometimes i really use certain translation services for different words and try to work with what i got.
