Here's a screen cap of the Tom Clancy book, it's called Threat Vector.

I found 3 or 4 called Terminal and it's too blurry for me to make out which one it'd be from the spine. Anyone else care to give it a go?

I also see something that looks like a rabbit doll figure leaning against the books.

Definitely need the HD version for this.

I agree the Eiffel Tower is shown enough to make it relevant, keeping in mind somebody designed this set very specifically so things are relevantly placed.

Consider too the time frame of some of these items to maybe get an idea when the bunker was being stocked. And why. Is he a conspiracy theorist? Tin foil hat sort? Government employee?

I was going to suggest looking for clues to learn about JGs background but it dawns on me that it may not even be his own bunker - he may have co opted it when SHTF.

JJ and his crew HAVE TO BE rolling at us all attacking this trailer like a bunch of ...monster starved parasites! Shocked Silly

So they are doing something.

I am in the camp that the script is a herring...we KNOW JJ kept this top secret for years and springs out a trailer in the middle of the night 2 months before a movie launch? Seriously. You think he's THAT sloppy he'd leave a hijacked script copy laying around the internet?

Consider MEW admits it was a top secret NDA Bad Robot thing - which means to most people don't speak of it or else. If BR bought the script, why leave it out there where we can already know what the movie is about, decide it doesn't have anything Cloverfield related, looks like a last minute hack job and NOT spend money in theaters?

Kind of a risk don't ya think?

If this is an anthology, that leaked script with characters who have no names shown on IMdb A YEAR LATER - think about that - could just be one little story in a much bigger movie or series of them.

You don't make people sign NDAs and the leave the script on the internet.

You don't make a movie with BIG NAME HIGH EARNING movie stars like John Goodman and then fail FOR A YEAR to add his character name on the movie's IMdb page. Seriously. This isn't a mistake. Or lack of caring.

I think these *are* our clues that this is way bigger than it looks.

And why has JG never spoken of this movie after its alleged release?

Not an interview or any fanfare about this movie - we're JUST now hearing about a year after it was finished? Private screenings and nobody cares?

If that was true, JJ and company already lost relevance for it.


SO that doesn't appear to me to be the real case.

Cloverfield movie page and Paramount posted this picture in November. Two months later, a trailer is released quietly and without fanfare - leaked by someone on the inner circle.

In my most educated and experienced opinion dealing with JJ Abrams and how he's known to go about things, he is not sloppy, he does care about his fan base, he's impressed by the fans' ability to root stuff out of sheer obscurity and work out the story...he leaves easter eggs and clues on a hunt...that's what it is.

Remember the original trailer? NOBODY had any idea this was an ARG until somebody - likely an insider - "leaked" the info about the Slusho tshirt and the date being a url.

He didn't give it to us this time - that would've been too easy.

There are clues in this trailer and to me, the best lead so far are the French them pictures and that drum barrel...

I'm holding out on the phone dating as a screw up...I just don't see him being that sloppy.

But for them both to post this teasing image is important. They were getting things in order for something...big...HUGE! Very Happy

Yes! There we go. All the more proof they were getting things ready. Notice they only posted this picture above and NOT anything about 10 Cloverfield Lane or the characters, just being more transparent they were about to bust out. Cloverfield image in November doesn't immediately connect to the 10 Cloverfield Lane domain being bought the same time.

And consider too the reason it's such an awkward clunky domain is probably all the people who bought up CloverfieldXXX domains from 2008 Very Happy

And if that's the case they were done with post production and ready to launch then whatever MEW and them were doing a year ago isn't likely what we're about to get...or it's just their small part in it.

I am getting the feeling that any new trailers might plausibly be other scenarios with other characters...and those contain the puzzle pieces we need leading to the big launch.

Is myspace even online anymore? I thought they bottomed out. Haven't checked.

I'm curious as to why our three trailer characters haven't been named in the IMdb page in all this time.

Went looking behind the scenes - this is probably all normal and aboveboard, no eggs in the source but I see there's base64 for the main graphic...might yield something? Yes? No? Maybe?

Ah yes Myspace not MSN i need to edit that, and i just looked it up they are still there.

Yeah exactly, that interview with her was a long ass time ago and she was also the only one who talked about the project, clearly there is more to it and I'm sure they made sure nothing actually relevant to what they wanted to do made it to the public. I mean, consider the facts... When was the last time a movie no one even whispered about, no one knew the existence of, with known names attached to it, suddenly gets a trailer attached to a medium-to-big production company and had a release date 2 months later?

The other thing is that it's going to be released on IMAX. If what the "leaked scripts" and synopsis say is true, then this is going to be the most boring IMAX release ever, since there's no spectacle to be had if they're just going to be inside a bunker all the time, and the same goes to the budget, if it's $5MM as it was reported for the The Cellar/Valencia project, then the IMAX release seems more out of place since that's the kinda money for a borderline independent film. JJ Abrams isn't dumb, he knows how to market things at the very least and these plays are his doing, to the point people tend to go to him when discussing Cloverfield instead of the director, Godard.

 		I can't log into the account I had here back in 2008, so here's a fresh account.

I'm positive there's an ARG that we need to look closer for, and it may require more than just digging through web archives or looking at the internal affairs of Paramount/Bad Robot.

Can't say I think this is a serious lead, but it still appears unresolved and it happened a mere 3 days ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/interestingasfuck/comments/40jdkj/no_one_seemed_to_take_note_that_stephen_hawkings/

Basically, all the screens in Times Square are covered in pictures of Stephen Hawking and three numbers (48, 16, 11) and there's not a note of it online other than this post on Reddit. I'm convinced that this is a piece of viral marketing, yet whether it's related to 10CL at all is the question.

 		I'm curious why you wouldn't think Cloverfield/Paramount facebook pages posting the above image in November 2 months ago isn't relevant but something happening in Times Square 3 days ago with 11 16 48 has anything to do with 10CL - what connection are you looking at that brought you here?

 		I meant that the November 2015 connection is the strongest one we have no so far, but also looking at more 'obvious' ARG trails that happened/are happening around this time may help to give us some other leads. A cryptic buying of screen space in Times Square with barely any mention of it on the Internet seems fairly in-your-face.

One theory/explanation posited was that it was a countdown to 2016's leap day - which is February 29 (two weeks before March 11) - yet every other element of this occurrence is still a complete mystery.

Oooh, okay now I see. Thanks for the clarification.

I thought it might've been his birthday but it's not.

Something significant happening on that date in relation to SH?

I confess it would be mega outstanding and give me chills indefinitely if that connection to SH and the numbers actually ended up being part of the Cloverfield sequel reveal. I think the internet would explode!
