Also, typos in the new message that seem so obvious - he spent a lot of time here with links and diagrams. Why not fix his mistakes? Still might be something there for us, not her.

I would think that his job being involved with satellites he has some info about some impending soviet shenannigans.. Interesting that he seems to refer to a nuclear type explosion or chemical attack as being the threat rather than a MGP one.. Thats not to say one might not release the other.. And the specific mention of ice cream being the main attractor to the shelter seems like it would appeal to a young girl moreso than an adult one.. Still think its going to be a missingmeganstambler type deal for as we know, she never makes it to his location..

He could mean the monster is coming, and they are dropping bombs where he previously was as part of the cover up too, maybe he thinks the Soviets are behind the monster I dunno...

A few of the things I get out of this:

1. This is exactly a one week update cycle. If that's the schedule they're on then I'm going to back off severely on how much I pay attention. Pretty clear to me at this point that we're meant to watch and not necessarily solve.
   
   
2. I'm pretty surprised by all the external OOG links… that's not in line with the ARGs of previous BR projects. I agree that this has the potential to get the less "wise" players who only tangentially pay attention and don't have as much experience to get heavily involved in finding "secrets" in websites that don't have them.
   
   
3. This pushes me more towards the thought process that they didn't actually have this ARG planned, and when the marketing person saw the influx of Tagruato emails and then when they looked at this forum and other places (I personally emailed a friend at BR and was like "Yo, if you guys aren't behind the Swamp Pop thing you should at least be aware") they probably felt like they needed to supplant the Swamp Pop thing with something of their own on short notice, hence the late DNS regs and lack of content so far.
   
   
4. I'm actually liking the minimal story and content we're being given. It's not as exciting as Chuai falling in the ocean or Jamie and Teddy, but it's kind of cool so far. I hope we're given more than what we are being drip-fed right now. I do wish they'd flesh out the Bold Futura side of it.
   
   
5. I miss the days of Rocket Poppeteers and reading reports of people finding a crash site in rural England…
