ya know as film editor you notice things in trailers and one thing that has stuck out to me is the fact that they didn't decide to have "10 cloverfield Lane" all show up at once at the end of the trailer. No, they let "cloverfield" stay on screen by itself for a few seconds followed by the rest of the title. That is important. JJ knows how upset his fans would be if he went to produce a film and only use the cloverfield name just for a quick cash grab. Regardless of the fact that cloverfield originally was just a street name, cloverfield represents a monster movie and a rather popular one at that. And yea maybe most of the film is spent in the bunker with those three, but this film is definitely about the events that happen in the cloverfield universe. Now on another note that poster does weird shiz when you mess with color settings. you can also see that '7' that one person was talking about very vaguely.



Do you know how to do destegging to see if anything's hidden in the poster?

Also, I can't help but see this as some underground space. I think the 7 isn't so much a clue though else it'd be easier to pick up with different people messing with it. I tried it and didn't see it at all. But in all these noise/channel test images it always looks like an underground space where the title is.

Somebody has to know destegging...just so we can rule it in or out

 		I read that too. I'm back and forth between Reddit and IMdb looking...trying to round up what's plausible and what's discarded.

IF there's anything, it's in the trailer. So far we've not managed to root out websites, the characters' actual names. I'm only counting the mysteriously conveniently leaked script only as it regards the trailer, not the movie/sequel.

Someone on Reddit posted the link to the French trailer that apparently has him saying something else, but who knows.

The Eiffel Tower pics seem to be a clue. Her shirt and one of the images look like something on it but it's too blurry for me to see.

It's unlikely the bunker is in New Orleans...just because of the water table. I'm also from Louisiana (north) and that's why even up there we couldn't put in a tornado shelter so I moved to the desert instead :p

The Swamp Pop being Louisiana though is curious. And JG lives down there. I've never heard of it though.

They did reshoots in LA

Not convinced nor seeing any link to the GordonEveryDay videos

No connection that I know of in Threat Vector book

We're focusing on MEW and JG but nobody's seemed to look at JGJr. Some of the glances they pass are really interesting. His expressions strike me as someone who's content to stay put, he's adapted and is cool with it.

That they're both injured makes me feel like they were together in the car accident and JG fixed them both up. She wants to leave and it doesn't work out. They finally settle in after he reveals what's in the drum.

But then....something big happens outside and to me that's on par with the sudden lights and roar during Rob's party...

I've watched the video a dozen times and if there's a clue there, and I swear I'll just be in denial because I believe there is, I'm not finding it either! Bang Head

I wanna look but i can't itl ruin it for me. and yea im from LA as well. architecture screams southern but yea we are wayyyy below sea level. Louisiana does have French heritage though...

 		I have read the script....
Hard to talk about without giving away things in the script, but I will say that from what I read and just what is in the trailer, there are bound to be some significant differences. Hope that helps, if you are on the fence about reading. I don't feel spoiled for '10 Cloverfield Lane' at all.
