Oh, absolutely! I was skeptical of the image editing, but less so of there being something there, something we're missing. We need a clearer image, first off! Interesting thing to note though: this is deep water horizons coordinates:

28.7381389°N 88.3659444°W

So not the same, but not far off!

That whole area is a super important to the oil industry - in particular New Orleans as a port. So it makes total sense for Tagruato to be there, and for Howard to do his work there.

I don't know if we're there yet, but I feel like we're real close!

EDIT: after some re-reading, and some thought something like

Is also viable as a gulf oil rig.

But we just need more clarity, literally, more clear pictures.

Because it's either a real life location on land, or an oil rig we shouldn't attempt to reach. I'm kinda leaning oil rig because of past ARG OBVS.

I went ahead and screencapped the Regal Cinemas image from the video that the Reddit poster uploaded, and adjusted levels in Photoshop. It looks a lot clearer in areas, at least to me. Perhaps it will help?



A bit brighter (though I think the other image may be more useful).

Hmmm. Does anyone else think that maybe all of the numbers on the tag were purposely obscured except for 12? As in, that's the number that we are supposed to find and focus on.

We'll see. During every ARG I've participated in, many people spend hours on things that ultimately mean nothing. Most progress in an ARG is actually quite obvious with a discerning eye. I don't have the free time like I used to, but I hope to help out once again. Right now, I would say we are getting bits to help build backstories for characters we are going to see in the movie. Each update seems to simply help us understand the movie more where the trailers fall short.

That being said, I can't wait for the goofy ARG in-jokes and photoshops P:

Firstly, I came to the exact same conclusion myself about image 1B, although let's keep the 0 on the 012 as it too is legible and viable. And I would still like a cleaner, clearer image on that to confirm. But I'm pretty happy with that as a conclusion right now.

Secondly, that still leaves us image 1A that I'm not super happy with. Here's why: the originals we've been able to find for these images have each absolutely been altered in some way to form the final film frame's image which is what gives us the numbers we need.

The 1C monkey is the best example of this - our nines monkey is absolutley the same monkey as the CSA stock image traced and redrawn slightlly. Changes have been made but the scale and shape is exaclty the same. You could overlay them & they would line up exactly.

The numbers & identifying words on the 1B survival vest have been scratched out and made illegible, and replaced with the number we need.

I'm fairly certain though we dont have the original 1D football photo, the numbers were photoshopped onto the shirt (just like Howards shirt on Tagruato).

Whatever the 1E "On Deck" magazine is had numbers written on it by hand.

So the 1A, "figure 15" is the only one that we haven't proved has been altered. Which is fishy to me. It seems like we only got 15 from the source image we found. We need the numbers that appear on screen, not just in the source image, and we don't have a clear enough shot of it to say what they are for sure.

Until we got that clear shot of the monkey we were dead in the water with this. When we got that, not only did we get clearer numbers, we got that SUPER DUPER IMPORTANT comma and minus, which is what told us this might be coordinates and broke this whole thing open for us.

To make the importance of this even clearer, if our first number *is* 15 we still have a viable coordinate that makes sense IG.

Is a location in Mali West Africa, close to the border with Senegal which - according to the February employee of the month page - Tagruato is doing work in.

I'm also pretty happy with this alphabetical order for the numbers, buuuuut considering other options just in case

Clearly the monkey goes in the middle (OMG, that's cute, got to be intentional) no matter what but what about the rest of them? Is there maybe a way to sort the number sets chronologically/biologically through Howards life? It would show us an answer to this puzzle, as well as tell us more about Howard, who is clearly our focus right now.
