I'm thinking that 012 is a 0.12 which would make it have to go on the other side of the -9. Every combination I play with after that puts me somewhere in Louisiana, all fairly close to each other as the rest is just changing the decimal a bit. Wish I was out there and could check these place out.

30.6___9,-90.12___

I think that just leaves 30.6689,-90.125742 and 30.657429,-90.1268 as possibilities which are both about a mile from each other I think.

 		I think with 30.6 and -9 we end up in Morocco, Texas- or Louisiana just north of New Orleans. So I'd take LA I guess.

 		This post won't shed any new light on, well, anything, but here's what I find interesting about the ARG experience (so far) for 10CL. I find it fascinating (and, cool) that a lot of this ARG is built around (or at least utilizing) things that exist in our reality. However, those things are being bent or at least applied to the alternate reality of the game where they take on a new meaning.

* Instead of featuring a fictional soft drink (Slusho) this time around, Bad Robot has opted for Swamp Pop. I think Swamp Pop probably took the notoriety from the ARG and (smartly) ran with it, with the Long Term Shelter Supply and puzzle pieces (which came from a puzzle that already existed). Heck, I know I bought a case of soda from them... which was awesome, by the way.


* The FAPT website features a picture from Pretty in Pink. Coincidentally (or not), the way to access Howard's messages to his daughter are by inputting a line of dialog from PiP.

* The Life Preserving Information on FAPT has links to weather conditions and satellite trackers from government websites. Howard also posted about an Amtrak fire in New Orleans that was very real.

* The alternate trailers contain images that already existed, but were slightly altered (the numbers) to give us a potential clue.

* Heck, even the movie itself used something that existed before 10 Cloverfield Lane. The movie started off as a script called "The Cellar" before it was re-written and given the 10 Cloverfield Lane

* Not related to what I'm saying, but cool nonetheless: The Employee of the Month page exists, but is nowhere to be found when navigating Tagruato's website directly. The page is exists almost as its own entity, with a picture of a very real actor among others who are most likely Bad Robot employees using pseudonyms.

And if the numbers from the trailers are simply pointing to the DoD website... well, that falls in line with all of this. Maybe that's the point of this ARG; maybe Bad Robot is using things that exist in our reality, but bending and reinterpreting them to fit the reality of the movie.... thus 'alternate reality' game.

But, sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. The fictional band from the first ARG (The Glass Helmets) had a song called "Ockham's Razor", after all...

So, this could just be some peppering. Like when the teaser trailer debuted and people noticed "Woman" by Wolfmother was playing at Rob's party. Researching the lyrics to the album, we found the song "Joker and the Thief" which contained the lyrics "...as she's standing in a field of clover". Also at the party was the Gorillaz song "19-2000" which has the lyrics "There's a monkey in the jungle watching a vapor trail, caught up in the conflict between his brain and his tail"... that's a pretty good and humorous description of Clover himself (also, monkeys played a small part in both ARGs).

To wrap this up, maybe this time we're being given more of an 'experience' than a 'game'. Just my observations, anyway.

 		So I haven't seen convincing proof of the 5 in 5752 on the On Deck image, so if you use only 742 and you balance each coordinate with only 4 numbers on either side of the decimal, you get 30.6742, -90.1268. This lands you in a farmhouse in Covington, LA. There's no street view, but that's how I see these.

I think a lot of us here agree with this thought process and while we can certainly discuss the alternate world that glimpses into movie/people/clovie we are also long standing GAME FOLK and will always hope for more hunt.

I will see the movie, slow each still down to a crawl with crazy ideas, go nutto for possible game related material, regardless of what we find here as the end result.

Hope is always strong in these instances, i think because the concept and era of big ARG's are feathering away over time Crying or Very sad

 		Greetings. As a long time lurker who's done his fair share of searching, reading, shifting, squinting etc. for the last two weeks, I'm just wondering: in image 1B (Regal Theaters, the Mustang Survival label) where everyone keeps mentioning the 012 / 0.12.. how come no one has mentioned the 4?

I mean, if the 2 counts as legible, then surely the 4 does as well (Specification No. xxL4). Both the 2 and the 4 are numbers, fairly legible and kind of right there..

Would look into it myself, but was just messing with coordinates/DoD sh*t for an hour and really need to crash for work.. still though.

Good catch. The L in the L4 may add to our coordinates theory. I think we may be on the verge of a solve here, folks.

FWIW, I just ordered a couple 4 packs from Swamp Pop just because. I doubt it'll play any further role in our experience, but it'll be interesting to see if they're still throwing in puzzle pieces or any other surprises.

I'm terribly sorry if 'me people' offended you in any way. I'm not trying to figure out the story. I'm trying to piece together what they're giving us. (Like they would ever give us enough to figure anything out)
Back in 2007-2008, I remember people were picking all footage apart trying to find clues.
What I'm leaning towards is that on the one hand, we get trailers leading us to believe Howard might be the monster. But on the other hand we get a loving dad, who knows what's coming that only wants the best for his daughter. At all cost, literally.
Getting the few events of the trailer in the right chronological order might shed a little light on the character.
For all we know MEW is the monster, ruining the one chance the other two had to survive, by escaping and indeed getting them killed......

No, this one is different, I believe...the Bowl clip last about a second longer, and had a more 'metallic' ring during the roar than this one did (IMO, of course).

Hmm- compared just recorded to you tube - can't see/hear any difference. No new scenes or dialogue anyway.
