Awesome! If SwampPop doesn't put this on their webpage, they're fools! Who wouldn't want to buy from that?

Oh its was just a quick digital scribble, but I think the action figure would work Razz

How did they know your order was not just a customer who wanted some pop to send you puzzle pieces? Did you mention anything about the movie or game etc?

I'm assuming they only send puzzle pieces to people who ordered with an email address that was also used to inquire about the Long Term Shelter Supply. They can cross reference them to determine who is in game and who isn't.

Virtually Quinn: I am also grown, don't you presume you know anything about me, except that I don't like being called honey, which I am now for a second time going to ask you, don't do again. Please. It's a euphemism and we all know it. I'm not telling you to do anything, except to not refer to me in a patronizing manner. You are clearly grown enough to know better. Also, it hasn't been a holiday or bad weather where I am. Again don't presume things about others simply because you disagree with them.

Your essay is exhausting and just... The puzzle is old stock, that's all. It exists, it's on eBay, I've actually come across it months ago while looking for puzzles for presents at Christmas, it's just not currently in print. I'm sure they used it for a reason, possibly the suspicious title.

The SP stuff you've reiterated multiple times now and it's all been debunked numerous times and you've been TOLD TO STOP BY THE MODERATOR. Please stop. For your own sake. Yes it looks currently like this is panning out. I actually went out of my way to say that even though *I* personally didn't think this is an officially sanctioned by the studio ARG, I might be wrong ( I'm actually still not convinced). But I have no idea. You have no idea. That's ok, we can disagree, it's to be expected in fact, but you still need to be respectful of others opinions and not restate the same information multiple times. That's not me telling you what to do. It's in the rules of the forum.

Couple of new trailers up on Paramount's YouTube site:

Don't really see anything new, but haven't gone over them yet. Just seems like clips taken out of the original trailer.

Happy digging.

I don't see any difference between the clips, however it's the first time I do notice something: when MEW walks towards the stairs and looks up to the hatch door, there's clearly light outside, and not just sparse light, either daylight or artificial light. And then in the next take she walks to it and there's no light, until she walks up to the door and it's dark outside. It's one of these things I hadn't noticed before.

Regarding the puzzle, that's finally a breakthrough, thank you slusho!666! Perhaps it's not just an Eiffel Tower, but a composite picture that has to be assembled together that way. It's up for discussion the amount of pieces that involve the puzzle, because it's gonna have to be a lot of orders...

84 orders if it's this puzzle and each person gets 3 pieces.

Sooo... If I were buying into this as legit sanctioned ARG, and not just a indie company having some cute fun (which I don't think there's anything wrong with, just not the same thing, or quite as exciting as an official ARG) I would probably contact White Mountain Puzzles next. And maybe order this:

http://www.whitemountainpuzzles.com/mobile/Soda-Pop-White-Mountain-Puzzles/productinfo/1150PZ/

(EDIT: Crap. I may have stumbled onto something. There's also a classic board game puzzle, a wine (WINE CELLER) puzzle, a tin sign puzzle, probably more I'm still looking... siiiiighhhhh this could BE something guys. I just broke my own cynicism).

This is actually a pretty normal image for that company though, they're semi famous for their photo collages of retro things (as well as folk art cat pictures).

I would however point out that the Eiffel Tower is a pretty ubiquitous, easily available subject for a puzzle, and it's use is something that comes as no surprise - we already noticed it in the trailer a number of times. It doesn't tell us anything new, which is usually the whole point of an ARG. And the puzzle appears to be an existing product made by a company that is NOT White Mountain Puzzles which also makes me question anything more than Swamp Pop nicely playing along.

The pudding is in whether there's something hidden in the image when all the pieces come together. Or something hidden on the back. Or some purpose at all to further a game.

To me it sounds like Swamp Pop is making out like bandits and Paramount
probably sent them some crap to toss in for orders from now until the movie's release knowing dumbasses will buy it just to see what comes in the mail.

Meanwhile Swamp Pop execs are loving this. Send More Money!

I'm a dummy!

Update! I ordered these really drunk when the Long Term Shelter Supply was available and didn't have a 'special message' on my receipt email, so I assumed that I didn't put anything. Someone on UF got some puzzle pieces too with no note, so I think you're right. Sorry for the confusion! I fucked up there. Drunk me playing games in the past.
BUT multiple reports of puzzles!

Do you think only 84 lucky buyers will get pieces or will it just keep going? How many puzzles can we complete! But seriously, I hope there's a hidden message somewhere. The hunt continues!

Yeah, we should be on the lookout for anything written on the backs of these puzzle pieces.

The hidden message on the puzzle:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Drink more Swamp Pop.

Seriously though, I am hopeful there is a tie in hidden in the pieces.

Ok, update: GUYS I MIGHT BE GETTING ON BOARD WITH THIS.

There are collage puzzles on White Mountain Puzzles for pretty much every single prop we've been noticing.

There's a "Travel poster" puzzle with the Eiffel Tower in the top left hand corner.
http://www.whitemountainpuzzles.com/Travel-The-World-550-Piece-Puzzle-White-Mountain-Puzzles/productinfo/1153PZ/

There's a 50's collage puzzle centered around a jukebox.
http://www.whitemountainpuzzles.com/The-Fifties-Poster/productinfo/196PS/

There's a vintage soda pop puzzle.
http://www.whitemountainpuzzles.com/mobile/Soda-Pop-White-Mountain-Puzzles/productinfo/1150PZ/

There's a tin sign puzzle.
http://www.whitemountainpuzzles.com/Tin-Signs-300-Piece-Puzzle-EZ-Grip-White-Mountain-Puzzles/productinfo/1187PZ/

There's a wine puzzle (which is integral to the plot of the original spec - it's called the CELLER because Goodman used the bunker as a wine cellar).
http://www.whitemountainpuzzles.com/Wine-Bottles-1000-Piece-Puzzle-White-Mountain-Puzzles-White-Mountain-Puzzles/productinfo/1058PZ/

Pigs. Not just pigs, three pigs. Under a farm.
http://www.whitemountainpuzzles.com/Three-Little-Pigs/productinfo/866PZ/

This "pop culture" puzzle has at least two vintage Star Trek images on it.
http://www.whitemountainpuzzles.com/Pop-Culture-White-Mountain-Puzzles/productinfo/1148PZ/ - interesting becuase it may confirm Paramount & this company have a working relationship.

"Television families" featuring - GET THIS: Mr. Goodman himself, and the cast of Roseanne. For real.
http://www.whitemountainpuzzles.com/TV-Families-White-Mountain-Puzzles/productinfo/1124PZ/

This is more tenuous: State birds and flowers including the sunflower:
http://www.whitemountainpuzzles.com/State-Birds-and-Flowers-Puzzle-White-Mountain-Puzzles/productinfo/140PZ/

OH WOWIE. There's a vintage board game puzzle, and I can't find the Game of Life on it, but I sure do see the MILLENIUM FALCON TOTALLY INEXPLICABLY.
http://www.whitemountainpuzzles.com/Game-Pieces-1000-PC-White-Mountain-Puzzles/productinfo/1174PZ/

There might be more, but it's a big site and a lot to sift through - which is also an argument against this theory. But it's something to look into.

(EDITED A WHOLE BUNCH to add in a few more puzzles and links)
