[SPEC] Finding Bad Robots
I got 108 Slushos

Has anyone picked up on any of the other Bad Robot/JJ Abrams signatures with the information we've got so far? Looking over the satellite stuff in the Numbers thread reminded me of "Find 815" (which I think was the 2nd or 3rd LOST Experience?). Simply reading "The NUMBERS" actually is probably enough to put me in that head-space to begin with. Kinda got an itch to binge watch LOST again, tbh, but that may be another impulse altogether.

Since a lot of us have participated in The LOST Experience, Super 8, Star Trek, etc.; I'm curious if anything's caught your eye.

I think right off the bat, given the similarities, when we first saw the trailer a bunch of us could only think of this:

The themes, the structure, the setting, the music - it's just *so* similar in so many ways, it's got to be intentional.

Whether it's homage or something more than that is anyone's guess at this point though.

Absolutely. The hatch, the oldie music, funny games, pretending to make a leisure life inside a shelter - there are so many similarities to Desmonds hatch.

Chat console reminded me on weird Trail chat between the Romulans at the beginning of Star Trek ARG, and that console at Super8 ARG as well.

Communication via trailers is soo Bad Robot, but really actively they did it back to Super8 ARG. (OK, Star Trek ARG had also its hidden hints in trailer)
