Wow, sauceycat. That's an odd and intriguing blog!
She calls it an ARG, so it may not be in game, unless it's Krystal's blog, or she works with Krystal at AWARE?? Could the boss she couldn't contact, be Nash Carey??

It could be any one involved in the pre-game, talking about getting a job (or not) at Ideltech. Interesting find.

I know, it's strange because she refers to the ARG but then again, this game isn't exactly "traditional" when it comes to the curtain. Plus, it's only a week old which makes it suspicious. The reference to Ideltech as a "real" job makes me think it could be ingame, and the strange references to "they" as in:
Either they think I'm an anomaly and know too much, or... omg! They might know who I really am. Shit! That can't be good!!

Hmm... as I was reading it, I got the sense that it was someone younger, or at least younger-playing. The bit about 'I speak like 4 languages, and can sing in 10' got me thinking too -- who have we met who's female, younger, and highly modest about her abilities?

Could this be a blog for sydney?

Edited with another thought about this: During some of the #marcus chats, John was in there at the same time as sydney. And portal blog girl talks about how she talked to a John. Very interesting...

Saucey was prolly doing a Google search for IDELTECH, maybe to see if we missed something, or just out of sheer boredom? I just did a search myself, and it popped up.

This is certainly a cool find

There is, however, a Trinity on UF here, so she /may/ not be in-game (although Krystal was registered here too). Her profile shows her first registering on 18th February 2004, but she has not posted at all... It also lists her occupation as a student and her interests as espionage and hacking.

I've chatted privately with Sydney last time she logged on. I'm not going to post the whole log just in case she's RL, but she did tell me that she lived in Minneapolis. She said she is working doing some research into "anything.. people.. places.. events.. new technology... etc" at a company in Minneapolis who were "quite big". She gave me the name (which I won't post just in case) but Google didn't turn up much.

That was one of the things that made me suspicious of her at the time, although the company name wasn't IdelTech, and it didn't seem to be related to it.

She also mentioned that she would be visiting the UK or Amsterdam, and Russia. This is from the #marcus chat on 22nd April:

And I'm sure some of us remember how cocky she was in those #marcus chats:

She then thought she had traced Palser the evil fake prof to Mainz in Germany. But I think maybe (if she was RL and Palser's not in Germany) she was just doing an IP location thing on bluelouboyle.com - some of the servers might be in Germany as that seems to be where Nash Carey lives... And if she /is/ in-game, then why would she do that and mention it to Marcus?

Hmm. Well now I am confused.

Are Sydney and Trinity the same person?
Are either/both of them in-game?
Are we "outing" someone's anonymous blog?!

While I'm leaning toward this being a fan site, it is possible that it is in-game, but we weren't supposed to find it yet. That could be why Marcus said had never heard of Company X, but yet said someone unnamed is working with TOBI. If it is in-game, and we were just early finding it, it'll probably come up again later. It don't think it will hurt to keep an eye on it...at the very least it might keep us entertained until June 15th.
