Apparently, this recording is supposed to be a conversation between NASA Johnson Flight Control and the International Space Station (ISS). The AMS-02 they are referring to is the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer --> http://www.ams02.org/
I think they are pronouncing the acronym ESA at times, too, which I assume is the European Space Agency.
EDIT: Sorry for the simultaneous URL posting, Jane Smith!

Maybe we need to look closer to the loud audio signal feedback thing at ~2:20 in the file?

Sounds like ESOC (European Space Operations Center) to me.

No problem. It was worth it for my kids asking "Dad, what the heck are you listening to over and over again?"

Agreed. Apparently, ESOC is the flight control branch of the ESA.

OMFG why would something think that is a good way to share this info? Can someone do me a favor and ask him to just upload the fraking file???
GD Pixie- Cut the field agent some slack! (Still love you by the way, warts and all) (Not that I think you have actual warts) (I better shut up before I say something stupid) (To late.)
Got the email back from the horse farm awhile back so I knew it was game on!
Can't open dropbox on mobile, please post relevant stuff.

A few interesting notes from reddit:
1. The markings on the outside of the MRE boxes are not standard issue. Perhaps there's a message hidden on the #winnerwinnerchickendinner.

New official Instagram post might also confirm this:

(Also to me that REALLY confirms that is their official communication channel with us. Good to know).
2. The puzzle pieces do seem to be from CatFish, in fact they seem to be pieces missing from the puzzle in the trailer. Which would give us a cool continuity connection to the movie - It's missing pieces because Howard misplaced them in his box to us.

Pixie - Can't help but thinking "aliens" either. I feel like it's being thrown in our face... either as a misdirection, or a possible lead.
The wav files reminded me of the last time a character from a Cloverfield ARG started sending us clues from satellites.

If you open the wav files in Notepad, the first line reads "bext\ Employee Terminal 838-4305174 :: PM". Thought it was a phone number at first, so I tried it. No such luck. Could be something, could be nothing, but I thought it was worth noting just in case.

So I don't understand why Howard would send 3 (? 5?) seemingly identical copies of the audio file. I can't see any differences in what i've downloaded.
