1344 cartridge case filled with goodies
I figure there should be a clear place for all the jibber jabber/ videos and pictures of this case.

Well desserved for MugensKeeper, hes had a long night multi trips out and no sleep!

He is heading home and will upload video/pictures in a bit..


So far it has:

1344 cartridge case filled with survival gear, a note, a USB drive, puzzle pieces..

note:
LISTEN TO THESE AND YOU'LL KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT. IT'S ALMOST RIGHT ON TOP OF US. YOU'LL NEED A WHOLE LOT MORE THAN THIS KIT IF YOU'RE GONNA HAVE A CHANCE TO MAKE IT TO THE OTHER SIDE.

PUZZLE:
catfish puzzle! Two pieces!

USB:

One Bottle opener USB
One Swiss Army knife USB

He went to location and found "An empty satsuma fizz bottle on a small mound of fresh dirt. Dug a foot down!"

 		[NEW] The Ammo Case
Gonna go ahead and start this thread. Reddit user MugensKeeper followed the coordinates from the numbers puzzle and found an ammo case in Covington, Louisiana. He says there was an empty Swamp Pop bottle marking where to dig.

Was not expecting a dead drop. Figured it was satellite related not actual location related. It's awesome, but shit it was basically a one person game for that bit, while many people contributed and a group could've gone, kind sucks for everyone else.

 		I'm always happy when someone who isn't just a "swag hunter" finds artifacts. Swag hunters irk me, we have lost custom artifacts with unique info before in other game to swag hunters. Thankfully, this person seems genuine, and his reward is well deserved!

EDIT - Soooooooo essentially until we find out exactly what is in the case, this is a bit of a bottleneck with what needs to be figured out correct? Am I correct in assuming that a lot of the other things that have been speculated on are irrelevant? For example everyone's favorite chestnuts "what's under the Eiffel tower," or "Why is Howard's picture not a jpg?"

I think this is our trail, unless there's something they skipped ahead to since this case has been there for a few days. Jesus, I'm still kinda steamy about how close we were! We were right on top of the thing on Tuesday. We were a person in NOLA short.

 		Ugh. People are already calling into question this guy and whether he's a Bad Robot plant on Reddit. (For the record I get the feeling he's a legit player, and I'm really excited & happy for him - and us! Yay exciting dead drop).

Also for the record: This. *This* is why you don't Deus Ex Machina your ARG. It erodes your players trust in you as a PM.

Anyways... after the image manipulation and deductive puzzle solving of the trailer frames, I think we can safely say this arg is gonna make use of a newer generation of puzzle solving tools - the kinda things the kids on Reddit are already into.

I wonder what's on that USB.
